Being at the G very early on saturday to see our boys play - even though we were being beaten I stayed till the very end as even though it was heartbreaking I felt they deserved our support after the fantastic season they had. Just wondering who else stayed till the end? Also who else is sick of seeing those geelong car flags!!

I did. Was painful. But didn't want to give them the satisfaction of seeing me leave after how vocal I was earlier! :D

I always do , but that's just my personal preference. It certainly had nothing to do with ' the boys deserving it' or 'thanking the boys for a terrific year'. I'm more in the Terry Wallace 'spew up' mood , after games like that.

I didn't and I feel no shame in that at all.

Could've stayed to support some of the kids we had out there but most of the senior players were as deserving of my support as Dennis Ferguson.

I figured i wasn't going to see them again for six more months so i'll stay to the end.

But that's the closest i've ever been to leaving a game early, never done it before but i was very close.

If it was a qualifying final i would have left, i was disgusted, but seeing as it was our last game of the year i stuck around.

Always stay to the end. The boys have to - so do I. And I laughed at the Geelong weenies in the next bay who didn't start singing and cheering until they were 8 goals up. Gutless. I'll take it as a sign of respect that they feel they need an 8-goal lead before the game is safe ;-)

I stayed, mainly cause I didn't want to give those Geelong w***ers the satisfaction of seeing me leave early. The types of w***ers that get an extremely inflated sense of self importance and satisfaction cause they sit up in the crowd, slagging off oppo players with 'witty' one-liners.

Yeah, stayed to the end, even though it hurt to.

Although when we are getting thumped, I go past depressed, and straight to this giddy stage where I just abuse the opposition and cheer every small Collingwood victory, it is quite funny if you ever hear me then.:D

Haha yeah we did that too, some geelong supporters gave me the s**ts some of the things they were saying about us - not nice at all! How about the idiot in the gold jacket - not impressed at all, thats a dog filthy act to steal someones 'icon' they have had for years!

p.s I have never ever left a game early in my life - just can't bring myself to do it although I understand why some people do

I stayed. Always do.

Those Geelong supporters though....................GO SAINTS.

Left after at the 8th minute mark of the last quarter, first time I've ever left early, but i seriously could not stand those Geelong supporters and to a lesser extent out players...

Well done o those that stayed

I was shattered from half way through the third and hit the bar for the last half, i talked my dad into staying at least another 10 minutes but when he started swearing and cursing (he is usually rather mild mannered at teh football the hysterics are me) it was time to go

My thoughts on leaving early are this, if the team can hung it up early and leav (albeit mentally) then why should we who paid to be there not being paid to be there stay as well?

I stayed until the end. I always do !
Show dignity and lose like a man. :(
I hate losing more than anyone and crack it bad.
However, if you are not good enough, you have to accept it.
In the end, we lost but we have had more pleasure than supporters from most other clubs. :thumbsu:

I always stay to the bitter end. I was also inspired by a group of Pie fans who sung themselves hoarse all through the last quarter. They sang our club song and other Magpie chants and they were louder than the official cheer squad. The more goals Geelong kicked, the louder they sang-it made me proud to be a Collingwood man. It really got up the noses of a few Cat fans who tried to taunt them with waving scarves but they just sang away and made them look silly.

Is it just me or did there seem to be far less Cat supporters compared to 2007 when it seemed almost 50/50?

I love this club and we will be back on the big stage in 2010.

Stayed til the end.

Accidentally left my sports bag there.

**** of a night.
i broke my phone

i currently have no backspace or hang up button

All my text messages look like they have been written by someone pissed and hasnt had sleep for 24hours and i cant hang up:(

Moral never ever hold your phone when Mclaren is umpiring, one bad decision and you can crush it

So I can imagine what 20 bad decisions could do to it... :D

Nice to meet you on Sat'dy Opti. Would have been nicer if I was coherent, the beer to quarter ratio was sadly way out of proportion! LOL
lol you were fine, if thats you drunk and angry i better start taking lessons lmao

and yeah a little bit of broken plastic after decision number 6, i suppose i cant keep putting off that iPhone uprgrade anyway
