Er you do know this was published before the 2017 season?
What was it published in 2009 or something?
yep i sure would take Martins 28 possession 0 goal final (most in junk time after his opponent went off the ground injured) over dangers 26 touch, 8 marks and 4 goal performance with all goals coming in the opening half. Martins 20 touch 3 goal game also better um just because. and lets not talk about the joke of martin winning a norm smith. One of the least deserved norm smiths in the past twenty years. All 3 of Dusty's finals > Danger's semi

exactly.True. Richmond didn’t need to be carried by one player
Dusty destroyed Geelong in the final and Danger's goals were from dodgy free kicks and also Dusty actually played for his team and creating goals for his teammates Danger didn't only cared about himselfyep i sure would take Martins 28 possession 0 goal final (most in junk time after his opponent went off the ground injured) over dangers 26 touch, 8 marks and 4 goal performance with all goals coming in the opening half. Nah you should probably read the links before you post. They ran the survey prior to Dustin Martins record breaking season.
Interesting. I wouldn't have even tipped Martin until Danger got suspended, then he stood out as the clear alternative.
Those rankings were by the AFL players who had played on both for approx the past 8 seasons. I doubt 12 months later they all think he's magically the best now because the media and Leigh Matthews said he was only after Danger was rubbed out.
not even close. fyfes last third of 2015 was frankly awful. only fyfes first 14 games stacks up but the other two did it all season.Fyfe 2015 was better than both of them
midway through the third was just after martins opponent went off the ground injured never to return for the season.Who cares... You could make arguments either way depending on whether you value stats or awards more. I still think Danger is slightly ahead overall as a footballer. However I'll never forget what Dusty did in the QF. If you watch both players closely from midway through the 3rd Q to midway through the 4th, you will see Dusty lift his side while Danger makes multiple mistakes either side of 3QT. Looking forward to watching both beasts for a few more years yet, lets hope Fyfe can get back to his best this year too. All three have an edge in power and balance over the rest of the competition at this stage in my view.

You don't think Dusty was gifted votes? Check out the GF. I wasn't surprised he won the Norm Smith, but IMO and the opinion of others he was not BOG. Yes he had a fantastic 4Q when the game was done and dusted, or should I say Dustined?Didnt deserve the Norm Smith and the AFL MVP is a pretend award, but certainly more worthy than Dangerfield for the Brownlow. Media hype gifted Dangerfield a bunch of undeserved votes, while Martin had to build up his hype as the year progressed.

Oh shit argument settled now!
