Saw as many by the time I was 14 years old. Oooooooohhhhh boy. That’s cute.
Lives rent free in your head.
I have gathered an inkling of a New Realism with Carlton supporters about the season ahead. Unlike previous that have belonged to a Deluded Romantic era.**** me you Carlton legends certainly like original material in all these threads hey. Thought id clicked on the Coll/Carl thread for a second
We've passed on the baton to Hawks fans clearly.I have gathered an inkling of a New Realism with Carlton supporters about the season ahead. Unlike previous that have belonged to a Deluded Romantic era.
Ya thinking you might actually lose 1 game now? We've passed on the baton to Hawks fans clearly.
Good to see at least most Blues fans with fairly tempered expectations for 2025.
I've said I think we'll finish top 4 on the back of an extremely soft draw but won't be serious contenders. Similar to how Port has been seen the last few years.Ya thinking you might actually lose 1 game now?

He's predicted his team to finish top 4, despite that team having not finished in the top 4 in more than two decades...You think you'll finish top four, does that mean you always view the ladder upside down?
Not at all, just seems relative to the discussion. I'll leave it a few more hours next time as to not hurt your feelings. You seem happy to report this, given how quick you posted this in the thread.
I wonder why you didn’t post the link to the actual video, rather than a screenshot.
Because the screenshot is how I also recieved it. Feel free to post the video. Ya'll a sensitive bunch in here huh? I'm not out here trying to dig my boots in or a " Gotcha moment "I wonder why you didn’t post the link to the actual video, rather than a screenshot.
I think we’ve all seen enough of your posts to know what you were doing.Because the screenshot is how I also recieved it. Feel free to post the video. Ya'll a sensitive bunch in here huh? I'm not out here trying to dig my boots in or a " Gotcha moment "
Which is?I think we’ve all seen enough of your posts to know what you were doing.
Come on Walshy, we're not getting in the top 4 this year.I've said I think we'll finish top 4 on the back of an extremely soft draw but won't be serious contenders. Similar to how Port has been seen the last few years.
Bait.Which is?
The competition is so tight that I can only confidently say two teams I think won't make the top four, Richmond and West Coast. A little luck goes a long way, having a nice fixture and facing the right teams at the right time can really change things, especially with injuries and all that. It’s tough to predict!
Collingwood 2025?
Carlton finish higher but Hawthorn will be more of a threat for the flag.
Well I make a pretty obvious joke that he’s old and you dig deep into it because you have nothing better to doChamp, and I can't comprehend!!
Really pulling out the big ones tonight, Dommy.
Likely a corkie.
Or conversely....Come on Walshy, we're not getting in the top 4 this year.
Every knowledgeable footy fan knows that any team that doesn't finish in the top 4 in the past 2 decades has absolutely zero chance of making it now. Probably never will, ever again!
We'll just continue to make up the numbers while the teams that have finished in the top 4 in the past 2 decades will continue to do so.
Simple logic Walshy.
The operative word there being "simple".

In your opinionOr conversely....
A team that has had 12, 13 and 13 wins the past 3 seasons, who's list has taken a backwards step in the off season, will likely not not improve enough to make top 4, given many other teams around them have materially improved their lists in the off season.
Alternatively, there is Blind hope.
