The season was heavily impacted by the war.

Big Asterisk, as is the case with many of Carlton's flags.
I've got an Asterix on 1945, 1981, 1987, 1995. Have I missed any others they've cheated in?
So in reality they've only won 12 flags legitimately.

Hey self-confessed 'flog'. Don't need to read the history of Princes Park, irrelevant to my statement. My statement pertains to the fact that in 1945 Carlton had one of the most significant advantages in the history of football. 14 games were played at princes Park that year and Carlton played in 13 of them. The most tainted win in the history of football.

Ask yourself why so many games were played at Princes Park - in between checking out your height measurements - "big fella" ...

go on...and the reast? idjot child
And thank you for proving my point flopsy. Carlton played 10 home games, the remaining 4 were finals hence such a significant advantage. The most one sided in history.
You're arguing why the finals were played there. Irrelevant. It is the fact it is a tainted flag due to the most significant home ground advantage ever.

Every time they do, it weakens their position

Carlton better in 2024, better over the last 80 years

And yet another admission Collingwood is the greatest club in the history of football. Insane. They keep coming. This has been a massive week.

I'm not arguing anything - just giving you as much rope as you need...

Nah you got roped in and you were found out and exposed. You came in carrying on about the history of the area and people not knowing it like some big noting expert. You think people don't know why the MCG wasn't being used, you think people don't know why Junction Oval was used in 44 for finals but not in 45. You think people don't know why there are ground shares. Your issue is you treat people like fools but get found out every time. The history of the area was irrelevant, we could dive deeper into Royal Park and 'Camp Hell' if you want as well but irrelevant. The relevancy was the home ground advantage Carlton had was significant as it would be if Collingwood played Grand Finals at Victoria Park.
You swagger into this thread like some resident expert throw out the personal insult and then run for cover every time.

nice rant - all that was missing was capitalisation and exclamation marks

Wow.. so in reality Carlton have only won 10 legitimate flags.
06-08: paid amateurs under the table

14-15, 45, 47(sort of): war

Arr0w's era: 8 flags tainted by all sorts of horrible rorts, cheating and general dirtiness

Their only legit flag was 1938

What day are we up to for Squibby taking a contested mark?

Gee you can be harsh on your own players but well I will answer any way. Squibby Walsh is up to 440 days since a contested mark. Wouldn't think that relevant for a midfielder but hey I know how harsh you are on Walsh especially with that nickname.

You know as well as I do the chances of Squibby doing anything like this are as close to 0 as you can get. Putting his body on the line is simply not in Squibbys DNA.
