'English for Carlton supporters...'

Completely reinventing the definition of 'another'.
Still with the attempted chest flex at questioning a person's level of intelligence

Like Walsh projecting better than Cox, but then conceding within 48 hours he already is better?

i always know when you are struggling to debate footy and or banter, you play the poster, which is always

Nice to have a Carlton poster who can respond in good spirit and not try and throw personal insults in every post. Appreciate the good banter, like most posters on here give.

Perhaps you could nurture one of your own, but perhaps a futile exercise

You may need to join the remedial English classes with your mates.

Well maybe if you correctly comprehend what was posted, it wouldn't be required.

Get to those remedial English classes.

Since when does anything need to actually be written for other posters to miscomprehend, lie and/or gaslight by saying it has been written?

I mean, that's the way Carlton posters operate.

Poor old PinnochiArr0w seems hung up on some earlier back and forth.

And no, I'm not explaining anything more to you until you help yourself by attending those remedial English classes.

The context in which the word was used inferred it was a continuation of the 'serious footy' they have already been playing.

Your second definition is in no way relevant to the comment posted by the Carlton supporter.

I hope they provide bulk discounts for Carlton supporters to the remedial English classes.

The 2nd part didn't apply obviously, context

The poster was implying that the Blues had played serious football recently and had another 3 years of it in them

Not a huge stretch for others to suggest the poster was doubling up after 3 years of unusually high finishes by Carlton's standards

Exactly.

Carlton's last 3 seasons have been consistently mediocre - 12 wins, 13 wins, 13 wins, so it makes sense that the original Carlton poster would be referring to that period.

'Serious Footy'...

FMD.

Is that what I asked? And sorry... 2024 Fudgernator
But what is the point in asking it if no Collingwood supporter had suggested it.

Seems to be a deflection to me...

For a team that has played in more than one third of all Grand Finals contested, and has contended for the premiership on 9 separate occasions since Carlton last have, do you really think any Collingwood supporter would regard a 9th place finish as 'serious footy'?
