got any figures boys of what he has got offered???
max brown would be creaming his dax at the thought of him signing let alone when he did! he would be thinking he has out foxed everyone!
poor max.. his claim to fame is winning things when no one else was around..... and has lost his voice in telling everyone how good he is!
who has burnie picked up??? brown, macmichael, gardam and i hear harry walters has signed as well???

Ford is getting at least 12k. Thats why they have offered him the assistant's job to fit it in the salary cap. Not bad for 1 nights work and 2 hours on a Sat. Don't know if Wynyard will clear Gardam or Walters. That stupid u/21 rule might prevent it. Have Ulv any locals left that will get a chance to play for thei club. Hayes Cook Macrossen Hubble Banan Soden Harris Ford are some of the players that played their first senior game some where else.

Banham is from forth + went to Ulv high, and Soden lives in Ulv + also went to Ulv High.. pretty local I would say.. Harris was from Ulv originally so that leave 4 or 5 or the ones you mentioned..

In the same post you mention of Burnie signing Gardam + Walters, + MacMicheal.. add those to E Taylor + Gilligan was there in 07 plus the rest.. think you will find most clubs will have a handful of players who started somewhere else?..

You seem to be up with all the Burnie go, what can you tell me about Sam Smart?..
 
The bottom line is Max Brown is a lying f*ck Knuckle who has done nothing in football. As for Sam Smart, he too is a nobody!!!

yeah all their accept ling, staying at burnie which is very suprising as he is best mates with plapp. this rule about not clearing blokes cause of the u21 rule is putrid. ulverstone wont clear two blokes cause they are living in launi and dont wont to travel back

this is unreasonable to suggest smart ever being an under age gun...was a soft player, who was flashy at best. wouldn't worry about him going bush, recruiting someone quality as such in walters is a far better candidate for the title "under age gun"...look for big things from Burnie this season!
 
I heard that James Wiggens and the new coach of Devonport have had a massive blow up of the camp. The new GM insisted that it went ahead despite the cost for each individual player, the coach showing common sense said no, it's justifyable. Apparently the GM said you worry about coaching i will worry about that cost. As it stands, the camp is not going ahead. Guess the coach pulled rank.

The camp was called off because off the cost factor. I don't think that is the real reason. Bottom line a camp does take time etc to put together then there is the time away. Camps require commitment.Thats the bottom line. If its true what is being said James has every right to be peed off.

How about Ulverstone not clearing the young players that have moved to Ltn. Short memories haven't they. I hope they turn their backs on them when they return to the coast and play with another club. Alford training at Latrobe but won't be cleared because he is contracted. Why on earth would players sign with a club then go and try and play with another one. Would you call that an attention disorder!!!!!! or what.

It is the dumbest rule i have ever heard of. The boys live 100 plus km's away and they are going to make them travel. If it went to court, Ulverstone wouldn't have a leg to stand on.

Yep, 200km return. These boys want to play good footy and their preparation is going to be hindered due to the fact they'll have limited training throughout the season with Ulv.

Docker5 is it true that Wuffy Smith has left the Dockers and gone intrastate for season 08.
 
Nothing is finalised, but at this stage, it does look as though Wuff will be going to Melbourne to play somewhere...:( and a side note...a former west park medallist has just had shoulder surgery, and has indicated to a select few, that in due course he is intending on returning to west park once 100%....look out! :)
