Who will finally end up beating St Kilda?

On current form we won't lose a game but the chance of maintaining this current run of form is almost zero.

If we are even slightly off our game we could quite easily lose to Sydney, Port, Melbourne, Essendon, Geelong, Kangaroos, Brisbane and Fremantle. To be honest if we are slightly off our game we could lose any game but they are probably the hardest games in the run home.

It's just a case of trying to keep the players fresh and having different players step up each week. In the Saints Player of the Year voting we have already had 16 players get a vote. If the bigger name players all struggle and not enough can step up we'll lose. If injuries kick in, all the more reason why we'll slowly come back to the field.

I have a feeling Melbourne might get up at the MCG.
media would be all over that if they lose. not because they finally lost, everyone would jump off the bandwagon claiming they will struggle come finals time.

While I'd like to think we will be undefeated this year, it is a daunting task at best.
Brisbane, Port, maybe Melbourne (although I don't think they will win purely because it is at the MCG) and Geelong (ditto, but "Skilled" instead of "MCG") will trouble us, but if we keep going and don't slump in form or collect any injuries, there is no reason we can't keep a duck in the L column this year.

You wish! Bandwagon? Name a team that doesn't have one when they are flying!

Round 16 my friends... round 16.

Also, Port and Brisbane should beat them IMO.

Dont think Essendon have proved themselves as of yet only beating one team in the eight.

Only matches that are possibly loseable:

Rd14 - Stk V. Port - York Park

Port is a good team and can do anything on their day. Always play at their best at around that time of year.

Rd15 - Melbourne V. Stk - MCG

Melbourne always strong on home turf, but I wouldn't think so.

Rd17 - Stk V. Essendon - Dome

Will be a cracking match.

Rd18 - Geelong V. Stk - Skilled

Geelong are in great form, and always good at the litter tray.

Rd21 - Brisbane V. Stk - Gabba

This is the big one. I think this will be it.

One thing, have the Saints played at the G yet?

If they keep up their current form, NO ONE has a chance what so ever in beating them.

Essendon don't have a hope. The Saints have already smashed them twice this year by around 40 points both times.

Geelong have a great defence, one that could stop St.Kilda's forward line. They have a good chance since the game is being played at Kadina.

Port dont have a chance. The game is played in Tasmania, not AAMI.

Brisbane have a chance at the GABBA. They are still a dominate team.

St.Kilda will go through the year UNDEFEATED.

It will be a different side stkilda will play than the one that took the field in round 2. If your expecting a flogging prepare to be dissapointed.

they could be beaten next week..

Nick Dal-Santo, Lenny Hayes, Robert Harvey, Heath Black (replace clarke), Stephen Powell, Andrew Thompson...Saints have the better mid-field.

Fraser Gehrig, Nick Riewoldt, Aaron Hamill, Brent Guerra, Stephen Milne, Justin Koschitzke....Saints have the better forward line.

Their Defence has also been good this year thanks to the dominate mid-feild.

On paper, Sydney don't have a chance. Anything is possible in footy, so I guess there is some hope. But not on paper.

I hope Essendon puts in a fight. I much liked the game between Lions and Saints. A close game of football is always great to watch.

FFS!

It was 30odd not 40odd. FYI Essendon ran a YOUNG team in the Wizzy Cup whereas the Saints ran a "we want this flag" team.

Rd2 Essendon were still under injury issues and hadn't put the foot on the gas at that time. Right now on points Essendon are equal SECOND.

Show a little intelligence... there is a ***BIG*** difference between a game Rd17 and Rd2... not to mention Wizzy Cup.

Don't fall for the same thing Freo did last year.
