Who will win the Brownlow?

I see Jobe winning it, with Pendles and Swan finishing like 2010 and taking votes off one another:

30 - Chris Judd
26 - Gary Ablett
24 - Dane Swan
21 - Scott Pendlebury
21 - Joel Selwood
Depends on how well Stanton polls. He became elite this year, so will be interesting how soon the umpires recognized this
Maybe the top 5 will be all Magpies. :thumbsu:

Will be going to Essendon imo. Plenty of wins and Watson and Stanton seem to be the only 2 major vote winners. I'm tipping the umpires will see Watson as more damaging though. I like to keep track of the brownlow so here is my top 20 as of round 13.
Watson 23
Thompson 20
Stanton 17
Ablett 15
Boyd 14
Deledio 14
Franklin 13
Kennedy 13
Pendlebury 13
Beams 12
Rockliff 12
Swan 12
Jack 11
J.Selwood 11
Dal Santo 10
S.Selwood 10
Dangerfield 9
Griffen 9
Johnson 9
Sidebottom 9

Whoever's leading will be on 15-16 maximum at this point. Also, where do you have Cotchin? I have him coming 4th atm.

Garry Ablett is without a doubt the best player in the league and has been the best player this season. In saying that Watson has had a consistent season and Scott Thompson has just carved things up this year. Swan might do alright and Deledio and Stanton should be up there.

I knew someone would mention Cotchin. I agree it feels like he should be up there, and I'll concede I may have that one very wrong. He has been consistent however, I've mostly had Deledio ahead of him stealing the BOGs.

As for the leading amount I agree it seems high, but I don't expect Essendon or Watson to continue at the rate they are. With 9 wins (also have him polling in 2 of their losses) I don't see who else apart from Stanton will get votes. Zaharakis, Heppell and Ryder may snatch a handful at best imo.

Crameri would have got in the votes in the Carlton game, I would think.

Hot top:

Dayne Beams.
Cold Bottom:

I mean Side Bottom! :D

Actually I think Pendles is the stand out to lead voting at Collingwood despite a couple of games out with injury. More consistent than either Beams or Swan this year although both have been good after slow starts. Sidey will poll reasonably but probably won't get enough 3 votes to outgun the others. I don't like to speculate on the actuall winner because it's too hard to get a handle with so many games to watch. You wind up listening to the media too much and that's just fraught.

I would have to say at this stage Watson, Swan could be a chance as well though-however I doubt a Collingwood player would win it since Sidebottom, Swan, Beams and Pendles all steal votes off each other in the midfield.

Dangerfield. Plays the sort of game that umpires will notice, even when he hasnt played particularly well. Would have probably 4 BOGs amongst other possible votes so far.

I like Jobe and Kennedy at the moment to be leading, but i think Swan is coming for them! id go Jobe to be wining now but swan to win it!

I still think Pendles is worth putting a bit of cash on...TAB $9

He will come back hungry and tear it up.... but Watson is looking good and Swannie is always a chance

Pendlebury and Ablett are clearly the two best mids in the comp, but Watson will win it considering Ablett plays in a team that gets smashed every week and Pendlebury has missed games.

Do you ever post anything that's not anti-Essendon vitriol? You're a goose.
