I'd say it's more of a reset then a rebuild. The loss of Matt Priddis and Sam Mitchell should be covered pretty easily, plus we got Nic returning (hopefully in some semblance of form).
Who is covering the loss of two former Brownlow medalists? Ah Chee?

Fremantle will forever look like they’re getting closer but they won’t get one with Ross in charge.

West Coast are closer imo. They will severely notice the loss of the 2 brownlow medalists though. Duggan needs to step up and fill one of these holes to some extent. The other hole will be left wide open next year. Can’t see anyone filling in

As the title says, who is closer to a flag out of the two WA teams.

Fremantle have very deep midfield and lack a proper KPF.

West Coast have some of the best KPPs in the comp but an inexperienced/untried midfield unit.

Who's closer to one?
Sort of like asking which is closer to the equator, the North or South Pole.

Jeez I hope we're closer, because West Coast are about as far as you can possibly be.

Sadly, the Eagles coaches would beat your chumps in a game...

Two words... Ross Lyin...

Agree - although this time a year ago you would not have believed that in 10 month’s time you would be basking in premiership glory. WC are better placed to produce a “Richmond” than Freo.

Sheed, Shuey, Yeo, Ah Chee, Duggan, Redden, Venables.

Let's not pretend that either player was in form (especially Priddis).

They were your arguably two of your best players for the year, lead your club in most important midfield stats, without checking if assume they both finished high up in the BnF. Let's not pretend neither didn't play a large role in the Eagles making the finals this year, with those two gone your lesser lights have a huge gap to fill, remains to be seen if they can.

I'll give you Sammy. He was a delight to watch this year even if somewhat past it.

But Priddis? Ask anyone on our board and they'll tell you he was one of our worst this year. He regressed in nearly every statistic and his slowness (combined with Sammy) killed us on the rebound. We played 10 times better when he was out of the side.

This is also coming from one of his biggest fans, so I can tell you first hand how hard it was to watch.

Yeah Pridda needed a zimmerframe for parts of this year, was a negative asset on the field. FWIW I watched Pridda live in a game pouring with rain vs Richmond and it was one of the best performances I've ever seen live so I'm a fan of his- but man did the game pass him by quickly.
