Why do Hawthorn crave to be in the BIG 4

Well they are doing their almighty best to become part of it. They sold their home ground and decided to shack up with Essendon and Carlton at the dome, maybe trying to get some info on how the big clubs do things properly. On the financial side, they sell home games interstate, obviously hoping to corner one area of the population. This effecitvely makes it look like they have a comparable membership to the clubs in the big 4, while in actual fact, they only have about 10000 members showing up to games while the rest have to watch it on tely from interstate.

The problem with all of that is, you have to be a sucessful club to demand respect. Looks like the Dawks have a fair way to go yet.

if anyones a joke its hawthorn - one ok year and you guys think your side is awesome. try to sustain for at least 2 or 3 years before you come out claiming your side is great please. 1991 - 2007 16 years hawks without success. 2000 -2007 7 years dons without success. it will take essendon 10 years to be as bad as hawthorn and thats if you chickens win the flag next year which is extremely unlikely.

Hawthorn didn't the chance to because our 2 highest drawing games studpidly were played at a 50,000 boutique stadium.
