Anyone see Didak's dive? Reckon that will be made an example of? The AFL are "busting" to prove their new anti-staging law is legit, will they have the balls to use this outlandishly in your face pathetic dive? Of course not.. Eddie's got his back.

Montagna holding the ball in Q3? Really? Literally the worst umpiring decision in Aussie rules footy ever?

Anyone know why the umpires wore yellow and not the jumpers to match the team they were favoring?

Congratulations to the Saints who showed how to play football. Not come out with heads the size of blimps all tough and mighty only to score four majors in the game. Anyone who watched that game with football knowledge and doesn't conceed Stinkwood had the umpires in favor is not analysing hard enough.

Not a single thread by a Collingwood supporter blaming the umpires may indicate that you're right, but I thought that the umpiring wasn't too bad today.

I wouldn't really know. I fell asleep midway through the second quarter and woke up just as the commentary crew were wrapping up the game. Seeing Collingwood try to be the big bad bully, coaches included, doesn't really excite me.

The first free of the match was absurd. They all rip into Jones at the same time before the game, Gardiner comes in to pull Wellingham away and break it up like any level-headed person would try to and he gets a free against? Ping the 6-odd guys belting Jones you idiot!

I found it funny how they had to gang up on Baker - 5 guys ripping into him at one point. None of them would look him in the eyes one on one.

That was primarily wrestling until Gardy wrapped Sharrod around the neck...

Milne got a arm around the back of the head around goals in the last, nothing doing. Wasn't a great umpiring performance, but I've seen worse. God the Umps REALLY hate Schnieder don't they...

I notice you didn't mention the free to Goddard straight after the first goal... brown was wrestling two players yet the free is paid against him.

Umpires should let em have a crack, if ya throw a punch or a jumper punch ping them, but a bit of push and shove is alright imo.

Uh uh, watch it again. Jolly I think it was had someone in a headlock before Gardiner even got there. Pies had the best of the umpiring again.

I do remember one terrible decision against collingwood though in the last quarter. Think it was pendlebury. Got tackled, handballed the ball away, but got pinged for holding the ball because the umpire said he took too long to get rid of it. A bit dumbfounded by that one. Tackle hadn't been planted for too long, nor had pendlebury been swung around much either. Plus his handball was clean as.

Great thread.

Umpire who paid that free will be having a week off next week.

They laid down the law in regard to 'Diving' and this is one from the textbook.

dawson dd not even touch him and DIVAK was throwing himself onto the ground

Agree with the OP.

I was left shaking my head at most of those non "holding the ball" decisions that went in Collingwoods favor. Dyson gets taken out and gets done for "pushing in the back", it was just poor upiring and was pretty pro Collingwood.

Karma is a biarch and it was great watching Collingwood miss bs scoring shot after bs scoring shot.
