People forget that he's in his first real season as a first team player. He'll be rested at various points.

I totally do not understand the dropping of Will and is it just coincedence since Brendan Bolton has been in the seat i hope not.Confidence is massive in football!!!

I know this is not popular opinion on this board, but Langford still has a long way to go as a player. At this stage the only role he plays for the team well, is as a tagger.

He needs a lot of work on his disposal and composure. He often is very sloppy out of contested situations, and sometimes panics and just bangs the ball long. These are all signs of a young player, and he will improve with time. He just will have to it at Box Hill, rather then in Hawthorn.

Can't fault his endeavour, just needs more polish.

Whitecross and Shiels were the same, the boy needs game time to get better not floundering at Box Hill,i am sure he will react with the right attitude and be back sooner rather than later.

Being dropped back to BH doesn't mean he has to flounder. It's more a case of he earned time in the seniors but now it's time to go back and work on what the coaches have deemed deficiencies in his game. No doubt he'll work really hard on them at BH this week (assuming he's not a late in again) and will be putting his hand up for a game against Carlton the following week.

Yes, but we shouldn't just gift games to youngsters for the sake of development. He has to earn his spot. If he is deemed good enough, he will play.

Let him work on his deficiencies in low pressure and less stressful environment at Box Hill.

Football is 99% above the shoulder,so it depends on young Will if he flounders. But seeing what i have of Will i don't think that will happen. Some players do flounder when they go back for extened periods,i see Grimley as floundering at the moment, and perhaps Wanganeen is starting to pong abit aswell.Players of the past that have gone stale at Box Hill,Travis Tuck,Beau Dowler,Shane Savage,Josh Kennedy to a degree you have to sell these kids hope otherwise they go backwards or get poached to other clubs.I just see Will's stage of imrovement as game time in the senior team i feel as though he has done his time at Box Hill and may stagnate if he is left there for an extended time or poached for better oppurtunities.I don't see what he is doing wrong to warrant being axed in the first place.
