Good to see Dawes go well, bit tough to kick 7 and not get in the best

Mate, in three games back from a knee reco, they should be absolutely delighted with Dawes' efforts. I know he's only in the reserves, but to kick 7 goals... he's already stamped himself as well above reserves grade, which is just brilliant under the circumstances. Well done Dawesome! :thumbsu:

I guess if Toovey can get a game, then form is irrelevant anyway.

I reckon Davies may come in after a solid effort at willi. I know he's not great player and he struggles at afl level but i think Mick loves him. I also reckon Mick want's too shake up the team too add a bit of spark so maybe dick may get in.

Rusling looks to have put in a solid effort with a couple of goals which is good after stepping after from the Willi reserves two weeks ago. I think he may come in if Buckley doesn't come in and didak misses again. I don't believe a Forwarod line of Rooca, Cloke, Davis, Didak, Medhurst, Rusling & Buckley would work.

If Mick loves Davies he'd be getting a game. I think they've almost given up on him ala when Shackleton got one game in 2004 (or 2005) and that was enough. Sadly while I rate Nicholls (well not really but I think it would be harsh to delist him) it looks like they've given up on him too.

Our key forward stocks have never been better. Give Rusling some games, see if he can make an impact, it will either boost his trade value or he will show enough for us to reconsider. BTW before you jump on me about wanting to trade Rusling, it isn't like how many people say "trade Lonie" when they really mean delist him. I think we have an opportunity to use Rusling to land a good player like a ruckman or a mid.

Trading Rusling to the Bulldogs or WCE for a midfielder is an option, but i think they will look into their crystal ball and see a forward line of Reid, Cloke, Didak, Rusling, Davis and maybe Dawes and like what they see. I think it would have variety and depth. However a quality and quick midfielder to complement a good forward would be nice.

I believe their only 2 things that will prevent Collingwood from winning a premiership in the next 4 years. 1. A decent Backup ruckman so Fraser can see out a full season without being naked by the end of it. 2. A midfielder in the mould of a Sam Mitchell, Nathan Foley or Paul Licuria. I think we have enough outside midfielders like Pendles, Thomas, R Shaw, Swan, B Johnson and Lockyer

We also lack a forward line that can consistently kick a winning score each week, hopefully Taylor sticks around and can teach them a thing or two. Maybe even get in another former Collingwood forward, maybe Daics to give a bit of coaching.

Licca

I am sure you mean from 5 years ago, not the Licca we are seeing at the minute..
