Have spoken to a few members about the possible jumper change and their first reaction... "Why would the club want to do that??"

After a very short explanation about returning to our true meaning etc they we like "Cool. I'll vote for the wings."

We may need to embark on a bit more education for the members out there naive to the #returnthewings cause.

**** thats impressive, my Mother and Father were low 3000s. My Sister and I were in the 29000. I wonder if the numbers continually increase? It would be interesting to see how many total members we have had in our time.

Spoke to a mad keen Eagles supporter young adult/ teenager (named Lij) about #returnthewings and was shocked when he told me he loved the White jumper and thought it was the eagles best jumper ever.

I won't be talking to him again, ever. Or giving him the link to the poll.

I've heard the same. A few of the younger kids I know who are keen Eagles fans have always loved the tri-panel, because they grew up with it, and aren't quite old enough to actually care about the history side of the wings. Christ, they don't even remember 2006 and that era.

I used to LOVE the 1st tripanel as a youngster. I wanted one really really badly but never got one. I got this book on AFL history out when I was around 10 read about the eagles history in it and got really into it. It began to bug me that our jumpers weren't matching. And that combined with us being premiers that year helped me see the light.

I'm proof that youngsters can be converted.
