A pair of wings worn since eighty seven
The wings are back but they're naaaavy
It's a chick bodyslam on your GF Parade
It's a train derailment on the only line into the state
And isn't it ironic... don't you think
It's like wiiiiiings on game day
It's a late shipment of wings when you've already paid
It's the peril wings that the club just didn't make
Who would've thought... it figures
Mr. Play It Safe was afraid to ditch navy
He packed his suitcase with tripanels and kissed them goodbye
He gave the fans what they wanted, wings at Subi
And as the train crashed he thought
"Well isn't this nice..."
And isn't it ironic... don't you think
It's like wiiiings on game day
It's a junktime goal when you've won the game
It's the peril wings. The club refuses to make
Who would've thought... it figures
Well wings have a funny way of sneaking up on you
When you think everything's okay and everything's going right
And wings has a funny way of bumming you out
The train fell over and now all the stock is late
A wings pre-order that's gonna be late
A no stock sign at the team store because of that train
It's like ten thousand tripanels when all you need is some wings
It's meeting the wings of my dreams

I've tried to but it doesn't seem to be working I'll have to do it when I'm home from Star Wars
But, First thing I noticed once I put it up next to my '14 Away Guernsey is the Eagle head is considerably smaller on the navy.
