When I first signed up on here I was having a look through all the threads on the graphic design and stumbled across this. Have no idea who did it but I thought it was pretty slick. Maybe an eagle head like that?

Nothing beats the original for me, the current logo is probably better for corporate/merchandise stuff (think paddlepop lion) but the old logo is much better suited for the jumpers (think Fitzroy lion).

WC are no strangers to having a completely different logo and eagle on the jumpers, either.

I still can't believe that was our home jumper for so ******* long, the current tripanel is crap but it has nothing on the original.

That's a really cool logo.

Quality logo, but clearly based on an American bald eagle (white head) rather than a wedge-tailed eagle. I think it's very important that we stick to the local product that we're named after.

Too much white.

I have no problem with the current head, or the the original head.

Just return the wings, don't need to mess with the current head other than minor tweaks. Or go back to original.
We don't want another BGC head debacle.

Again - no one on here should be talking about or suggesting a white strip. We don't need white!

White is a North, Collingwood, Geelong, Sydney and St Kilda colour - it should not be a West Coast. We have Yellow (Gold) as our light colour that we can use.
