WONDERS LEGEND SACKED IN RESPONSE TO HEARTBREAKING FINAL
The West Coast Wonders have released a statement in response to their heart breaking elimination final loss to the Las Vegas Bears.
The Wonders are aware of todays development in relation to their elimination from the 37th season of the Sweet F.A and how disappointed the supporters are after a promising home and away season.
Captain, AnUltimateRessie, knows that further change is required to aim for future success and again stands by their decision to focus on youth but it does not lessen the frustration and disappointment shared by the players, coaches, staff, members and fans alike.
546 game player, and Hall of Fame legend, ClarkeM has been stood down from the leadership group as a further step step towards creating the next generation at the West Coast Wonders. ClarkeM has another season remaining on his contract at the Wonders and there is no reason to believe that he will exit after that contract is complete.
The board would like to thank ClarkeM for his tireless work across the team and the league but would like to stress that this is in no relation to his recent controversial opinion of moving home games away from The Colosseum.
The future is now, and exciting for the West Coast Wonders.
