only going on the info going around here at the hill at the moment...no names mentioned on who out but shows how quick things can change in the footy world...sorry to say anything but thought would share it with you....my apologies

Keep sharing the info mate. We all love it regardless if its bad or good news. Stoked that Tex has got the recall even if it is due to unfortunate circumstances.

I travelled to Melbourne last week to see the boys play and he looked great every time he got near it. I don't think the TV showed how well he actually went because a lot goes unseen.

I swear the mates I went with thought I want to marry the bloke with how crazy I was going every time he got near it. :D

Surely the Crows will give Taylor 22 games this year. You haven't had a quality forward in the psat decade, invest some time into him and get the long term rewards.

Thompson in Cook Out

Does johncock or Symes come straight in?

What a terrible desicion. He was hardly given a chance last week and they drop him. Has Adelaide got a plan to have forward line dramas forever? if so they are going down the right path.

People are jumping around left and right in this thread :p I really appreciate your insight into what's happening Tails, please don't ever stop. It's a strange feeling being delighted to hear about an injury but that may change when we find out who it is.

I would dearly love Walker to keep playing each round and showing us what he's capable of.

Thanks for giving us the inside scoop!

Regardless of who it is that's gone down, it's massively disappointing in the first place that he was dropped/in line for dropping.

How long before we see the return of Shirley and Gill, Doughty made captain, and Perrie and McGregor redrafted! ;)

I sort of agree bus, but we can't be youth orientated just for the sake of it, if their on par for performance with an old guy then they should be picked because it adds a little experience, but bringing in say Armstrong now for Doughty knowing Doughty wont be in the team in 5-6 years is a bit much.

That said I agree with you on some players, I don't think we'll see Gill again unless we get hit hard by injuries, or if he is tearing up the SAFL to extreem lengths.

Truth be known,Knights got crunched in a taclke drill, left the ground with a noticeable limp with about 45mins left at training.Unsure if he will come up for selection?

Picking youngsters for the sake of it is not the best way forward but playing them when form warrants definitely is. Walker has more than earned his spot in the team and its ridiculous that he would not have been given at least a few games to adjust to the different level.

Yep, i agree with this. His form in the pre season has been traffic and more than serviceable. He has definitely shown he is someone worth persevering with. One week is not enough time to evaluate that. Disapointing.

Tue, Mar 31, 09DEFENDER Graham Johncock will return to Adelaide's line-up when it hosts St Kilda at AAMI Stadium on Friday night.

Johncock missed the round one win over Collingwood to return to Port Lincoln to mourn the sudden death of his mother.

However, coach Neil Craig confirmed that the 26-year-old appeared at West Lakes on Monday and expressed his readiness to play.

"I had a good, healthy conversation with Graham on Tuesday and he assures me he’s ready to perform," Craig said on Thursday. "I’ll back him in on that."

Johncock's inclusion is likely to be one of two changes to the side that upset the Pies by four points at the MCG last week.

Midfielder Scott Thompson, who missed with hamstring soreness, will also play his first game of the season provided he gets through Thursday’s light training run.

One of inexperienced quintet Taylor Walker, Patrick Dangerfield, Jared Petrenko, Andy Otten and Myke Cook, all impressive against Collingwood, could make way for Thompson or Johncock.

Jon Griffin, Brad Symes, Jarrhan Jacky and tagger Rob Shirley are also putting pressure on the selectors to make more unforced changes.

Craig said the forecast of possible showers could cost a big man his spot and conceded there would be some disappointed players when the team was named.

"Both Scott and Graham had been in good form before they went out of the side and they’ve got good track records and histories with trust in that area," Craig said.

"They’re both really senior, talented players, so they’ll both come back in and it’s then a question of who goes out. The team stood up under pressure last week and the kids were part of that.

"I know there was a lot of excitement about that result, as there should have been, but we’ve got to be really clear on that. We have more information than the general public has about performances, what guys were asked to do on the day and positioning.

"There’s going to be some disappointment and, hopefully, that stays for the rest of the year with the competition we’ve got internally."

looks like AFC.com.au has been reading this board again :D

Is that saying, hey 19th man we really need you, but you know shit?
