hahhaha I have childhood memories of D. Wellham had a cut shot and a flick over mid wicket / square leg from memory... and not much else....
However he was facing Marshall Garner Walsh etc.
I'll start us off...
Scott Muller - Cant bowl, cant bat, cant throw case closed
Andrew Hilditch - see compulsive hooker in the dictionary pic of Hilditch
Gavin Robertson - Did his best work in the band 6 and out.
Chris Matthews - was it Chris that couldn't hit the pitch in his debut
Murray Bennett - Mid 80's a dark cloud hung over aussie cricket
Robbie Kerr - Averaged 37 odd in first class cricket and got a gig
Come on murray bennett wasn't that bad. he helped us win a test match against the windies and even got the great viv richards out with a lovely arm-ball. did alright with the bat too if i remember

Jim Higgs was a leg spinner in the 80's. I saw highlights of one of the games he played in he bowled rank leggies i saw one ball the bounced 3 times before it reached the batsmen.
I asked my old man about him and he said he was no good at all, but we had nothin else at the time.

Dunno if he got dropped but he did make a ton on debut.
After watching Warnie over the years it just brings back memories of how much crap Sleep , Higgs and co. used to dish up. from the first ball Warnie was on the spot.Peter Sleep

Is that a Shane Warne type of list? did the guy even get 2000 runs?

to me he's more in the bracket of a hookes...flashy, flair player who never delivered over a career.

You have to look deeper than that to the games he won for us, and what he has done at domestic level.

Boof is far from the worst, but to say he is in the top 20 aussies of all time is frankly, probably even further from the truth. He wouldn't even make the top 20 batsmen.

Fantastic domestic career, but its what you achieve at the top that counts. Hell, Jamie Siddons and Stuart Law were a great 1st class players. Most people under 20 have probably never heard of them.
