Why don't you give us some insight then Unit. I hear the Magpies have picked up a few including a 6'4 South African ruckman and a few Werribee players?

At this stage unless Phil Crea pulls on the boots can't see the Vales finishing anywhere but bottom of the ladder. Lost a lot of young talent.

Yeah the South African is a big boy hed probly weigh about 100 kg's as well hes just a big unit , looks like hes learning the game well he will start in the 2's at this stage. Id say hed be closer to 6"6 than 6"4.

Michael Kennedy has been appointed captain. I think he is 20 years old but he is a gun player he is a former captain of the under 18's at lavo and still currently on Williamstown VFL's list but id say 90% of his games would be at lavo.

We are expecting the reserves to make finals due to them winning 9 of there last 10 last season, at this stage we are just hoping the seniors can earn some respect.

This week Parkside have a Practice match against Trentham at Trentham.
U/18's, Ressies and Seniors.

Parksides Ground will be the best for Div 2 Footy by a mile. Ground is in superb condition thanks to Footscray using it for Cricket.

good luck delany with sunshine heights.... i think parkside r going 2 belt ur poor weak side all over the ground so let ur players no they have another year in 2 nd divvy next year,, and truthly i think u should only ever be a 2 nd divvy side because i seen use play in the finals last year and think use r very soft with average ball skills

Yeah 2 or 3 of the boys will be goin o/seas later in the year but only miss a couple of games with the long weekend got a heap of depth which should cover for their loss. were lookin ok i think wel have to wait and c come round 1.
