WRFL Div. 2 Season 2008 and Beyond

parkside started slow in the first term..
but once the intensity started to lift and the boys started to link up we were very good..
moved the ball well in bursts..
wyndamvale were a very good opposition..
tried there hearts out all day...
Paddy Davis kicked 10+ (quite afew behinds aswell)
missing about 3 blokes outta the midfield..
good game..
hopefully the boys can continue the form we showed late in todays match..
plenty of hard running of the ball..
well linked..

anyone else want to let us know what happened in the other games..
how did the Coburg v Deer Park game unfold?

you used linked twice and basicaly other than davis kicking 11 you gave us nothing....wyndamvale were good oposition tried hard all day........hahahaha.....the dribble continues.......

deer park v coburg very interesting game......1sts and 2nds with the blue and gold brigade getting the job done....4 points is all that matters........alot of new players in the side wont start to gel after 3 or 4 weeks.........

1 thing i must say massive crowd today down at deer park a good sign of things to come........well done to some of the coburg boys having a few froffies after the game........hammo didnt see you in there.........??????

very scrappy first quarter then we just took over
i think greto kicked 7 caruana 5 firman 4
bests imo were big nick dean in the ruck matt roberson and caruana. firman in his first game was very impressive taking some solid grabs.

both teams were undicipline.......and you guys continue to be that.......
and u guys had your first 4 out of 5 from frees or 50's.......dissapointing the umpires were so ticky touchwood on their descisions other than that it was a hard/tough game.......

as we will you guys will get better and show some of these teams higher on the ladder up........

Watched Heights yesterday against an undermanned North Sunshine. Heights look to be a far different and better side to last season, I counted about 6 or 7 new players and they look very fit. Maybe Typewriter can let us know how many new players were in the side and how has the pre season been.

North Sunshine as I said were a bit undermanned but kept trying hard and never gave up trying to score goals. Listened to Lou at quarter time, seems to know his football and still plays not too bad himself

Now you say 7 different players, any you say u dont know who they are, that is the biggest load of crap. Good sources told me same as last year, woodsy is back, and a couple of resies hoppers players doesnt make 7 changes. Ay typewritter how did the resies go, are u puting the boots on.
Good to c my mate Nick caruana in the goal kickers. As for my game i say i tried hard all day, kicked a goal, we are taking it week bu week at parkside. Hopefully we have 6 players to come in, 6 good players so will be a good test against Deer Park. I think we will call that match of the round.

Saturday's side for sunshine heights did have 7 players that were not in the side for last yr's grand final. You can take my word for that tats. Congrats on ur first win.

I think we are planning a full parade this friday down swanston st walk. All players who took part in last season will be on a Double decker bus with a Wooden Spoon borrowed from Carlton as they had a few lying around.

I heard that Parkside have made two new recruits from Marby Park there dv and vice captain for season 2008.

Obviously not too much faith in the stock at hand if that rumour is correct.
