all talk has been about the Seniors, How are ressies going. North won the flag last year, Albanvale are always up there. Parkside has more numbers than Tasmania and Coburg have there umpire. Any talk on how this season may unfold.
Dekka from nth has had a big preseason, and is ready and roaring for the albanvale side .nth should win by a couple of goals...and continue their form from last year. big inclusions into the side! thomo is one.

Is the fossil 'Scratcher' Allen pulling on the boots this year or did he end up taking up lawn bowls like he told me he was thinking about doing?

The Coburg 2's are looking a mixed bag at this stage, we have had alot of turn over with the change in coaches but on paper our team for saturday looks pretty good. Our forward line will really need to lift with the help of the Midfield this season to have the same success as they did last year.

WEEKEND TIPS

North foots 15pts
Parkside 40pts
Coburg 10pts
Braybrook 85pts
Deer park 50pts

Would expect north foots and albanvale to once again be the powerhouse sides but a more even comp should see alot more competitive games and sides like parkside, coburg, yarraville and deer park not to far behind

suprised by the weekends result?

not too fussed with the result........going by the coach our ressies side last year would have been 10-15 goals better than the 1 that run out on w/end.......8 still to go into snrs and 8 still unavailable for ressies id expect different results after the 1/2 way mark of the year.......

yeah but they must have improved alot since last year cos even with that many players out last year you would have beat them by 10-15 goals

Who did Albanvale lose to? Was it North Footscray?

Went down to watch Deer park V Braybrook res, Deer Park looked to do it pretty easy forwards kicked poorly however. Young midfielders stood out number 14 and 15 seemed very equiped and pacy kicked a few late ones also number 1 looked good befor coming off injured. best for braybrook would be number 4 big bloke who took some strong marks looks handy player lacked the pace to keep up with deer park midfield who ran all over them most of the game.

Anyone been to see North footscray? heard they are fairly strong might have a look this we normally always up there. Also how are parkside? :thumbsu:

TIPS:
wyndhamvale should do it easy: by 40 point
nth footscray in a tight one: 8 points
deer park win easy against cellar dwellers: 70 points
parkside wont be troubled: 30 points
Albanvale to smash yarra: 60 point

Not going to be the most competative week of footy will prob have a look at north footscray eager to see how they are going.
