This is a pity for any club to go through l know the club l am involved with is going through hard times but at least we field 2 teams on a Saturday this all falls back on the governing body's shoulders absolute disgrace sunshine heights should have been in div3 if they never recover from this and are forced to close shop or any other club in a similar postion the blood will be on the league's hands

Who is weak as piss not the club they kept on fighting for the season and kept getting belted every week which i can relate to to keep the league happy but what happens when your supporters drop of sponsors drop of you are ridiculed as a club what have you got left to play for l take my hat of to sunshine heights for hanging in so long

I feel like if the league had let Sunshine Heights go down to Division 3 there would have been an amount of good will from other clubs. They have fought all year and seem to have run out of players.
The WRFL is a disgrace, always have been. High fees and clubs get nothing in return... unless you're Parkside

Yeah I can relate to the beltings also, but true supporters would still be there week in week out. Don't want to talk about parkside but I just can't see sunshine heights just giving up and lying down.its there first year of getting belted, other clubs have been taking hidings for years and if you have to get blokes to double up etc that's what you need to do...

Don't clubs have to have reserves play otherwise it's a walkover for seniors too.Pretty sure that's what wrfl told Parkside at start year ,if that means players doubling so be it nth sunshine did that for years is there different rules for different clubs?

They have had blokes doubling up all year. Not sure you want 38 year old fat retired blokes playing 2 games of footy, someone will die.

Our club has struggled all year in terms of having player numbers, but we have managed to put sides together every other round, even playing 1 or 2 players short in the ressies some rounds.
Like other clubs throughout the season, you cop injuries, players scheduling European holidays during July, and players work. unfortunately today we couldn't get both sides out there.
We did manage to field a seniors side and gave everything we had against the 2nd best side in divvy 2.
I couldn't have been more prouder of the way we went about it today and all year
Just needed respite for 1 week, but we will def have 2 sides out there next week as we take on divvy 2 ladder leaders : )

Parks to be premiers, win gf by 39.5+
I will make a big call here. Only two teams can win it from here. Sanctuary lakes and suns making up the numbers. Parkside and Cobras. For me with Cobras blowing them away.
