Suns six goals down three quarter time, beaten by one hundred points wow!!!!
Maybe players not working hard enough not the coaches
Honestly it felt like a much closer game than what it was. I remember thinking the Suns were up by about 3 points at half time, when I checked the scoreboard we were up by 18 which was a shock.
Last quarter we kicked a couple quick ones and were with what turned out to be a pretty strong breeze, definitely didn't feel like a 100+ point win in all honesty.

Just remember that successful people don't care about the opinions of people that mean nothing.
To clear it up for you though, I was paid $10k per season for 3 seasons, have been the longest serving senior coach for 3 consecutive years in over 30 years. And I brought in over $20k in initiatives to raise money for the club including $4500 from Ferguson Plarre (every pie you buy helps build me retirement fund :)
If you reckon $10k to coach a club per season is a lot of money you have no idea. I make $10k now in a few weeks and don't have to deal with head cases on an almost daily basis!
Again I stand by my name and who I am whilst you keep taking pot shots... Just remember, you know who I am and you are just a faceless and nameless nothing, on here and in the real world too.
FYI moran you have not been the longest serving coach in the last 30 years. Greg cotter also served as coach for 3 consecutive years in 2001 2002 and 2003. So maybe do some research..
Also your coaching record speaks for itself 11 wins from 49 games 6 of those wins were against north sunshine.

Finishing 6th in div 2 in one of those years was the highest Laverton has finished since my departure.... And a win against Parkside for the first time in history... I'll take that.

How about a few updates from the weekend blokes
Who looked good?
Who was terrible?
Can there be upsets this weeks?
Id say lavo will sneak a few wins in just losing to braybrook!
north to beat sanctuary lakes this week
Parkside to give tarneit there first loss
Newport to heat lavo
Wyndham suns and Braybrook will be a good game i dunno who wins heard good and bad about both

Went down to watch Parkside and the Sharks parkside way to good they had 6 players out all working at flemingtone. Also young Sheppa turned it on kicking 3 goals in 3 mins all rippers.parkisde vs tarneit will be a great game this week

Tarniet I feel will be the team to beat so far they haven't put a foot wrong and are very well coached down there And got winners all around the ground!

Newport 2nd pick same as tarniet got winners all over the park and well lead by Williams but as you can see from the weekend if he doesn't play massive out for them!

Parkside will finished 3rd but don't think they have the fire power like the top 2 and if they think Sheppa is going to kick them a winning score they are going to fall way short!

sunny heights, sanctuary lakes, North sunshine and Braybrook will fight out the final 2 positions!

Out of these teams it will be whoever fires in there forward line cause all 4 teams have not as strong back 6 and get score easily against!

Sunny have gretto,privitera
Lakes have neralic,granvillanni
North have fawcus,larizza
Brookers have lane,milo

Happy to be proved wrong about Suns and lavo also but just don't see them pushing for finals this year

Watched most of Lavertons games in Justins last year as coach, as a coach i thought he spoke well and was always positive when talking to the players. But There was no one on the side lines to help him, which made it hard to coach when he was playing most of the time. When some of your senior players decide they want to play reserves when picked to play for the seniors your on a hiding to nothing. He resigned mid year but said he will coach out the year, got to say not many coaches would do that. Lavo had some good players there but at the end of the day they just didnt give a F_ _ _ .

100% right and it forced Justin to play in that last year when he should have been able to focus solely on coaching... By that stage Justin at 37yo he had the turning circle of a semi trailer :thumbsu:

I think its more the way he has gone about it since on these forums that gives him a bad look. I don't know the bloke personally but from what he has written on here it looks like he has a childish chip on his shoulder.

Mate I couldn't give a crap. Those that know me know who I am and what I'm about, your coach is a good bloke and he knows me and what I'm about.

Don't get me wrong I have no issue with you. Its just that the constant shitfest between you and Lavo guys is pretty stale and the rest of us are over it.

I am not Sheppa you idiot

As much of a whinging pest Sheppa is, he actually played ok on the weekend. I went and watched braybrook v Lavo and then second half of SL v Parkside. Braybrook/Lavo are that far off its scary to think some of those blokes are playing senior football, nothing against them but the depth of the bottom sides is worrying. SL and Parkside have gone backwards a great deal from last year, SL brought in an almost completely new playing group this year. They had a young side last year and let a few of the players go thinking the new guys would go better then they are. Haven't seen Newport or Tarneit this year but going off the games I saw on Saturday they would/should be miles in front of those sides.

And if Newport make it to the GF and Williams plays he will singlehandedly win it. No player in div3 would be able to stop him. Will kick 10+

I guess that's why its so important to have a high pressure midfield to make sure it isn't coming in lace out to him, obviously tougher then it sounds. how do the mids go for Newport? im assuming they have a decent on ball crew? Surely if Suns get there act together they are still a sneaky chance, a lot of good players on their list still.

Could be wrong but heard from.both sides lavo and Braybrook had a few out but whyndam suns who knows they have the side on paper but just not preforming if they gel at the right time they have to be a chance but heaights are a sneaky also they uave only really been beatin bad by tarneit at tarneit

Isn't that every side, every weekend haha

That is correct. we were lucky enough that he didnt play against us on the weekend. They still managed to come from behind and beat us by 4 points. Prob much more if willo was playing. Macca is unstoppable for them and their number 12
