WRFL Division 3 2021

I predict Braybrook to be premiers in seniors and reserves. I think our women’s team will win it too. Our thirds team should be strong too, so I’ll go on a limb and back them for the flag in the RDFL also. Our netball teams will dominate, and on form I pick each side to win their respective GF. Believe we will celebrate a number of premierships @PENNELL RESERVE in 2021. I may be biased though.

Calm down 1874 😂🤦‍♂️😂

Looking at the Recruits there are some interesting strategies within the division :
Lavo - gone purely with youth
Suns - gone with good div 3 players
Cobras - gone with blokes over the age 31
Brookers - gone with players outside of div 3, mainly higher grades
Norf - gone with anyone they can get
Heights - haven’t recruited much
Tarneit - been quiet on recruiting

interesting to see what strategy pays off during the year.

An erudite summation of the comp.

Cobras by 80 points
Brookers by 8 goals
Heights by 5 goals
Lavo to beat the bye by 100 points

Good luck to all teams, the wait is over and it’s go time!
Roadrunners to defeat the Albanvale Old Boys by 8 pts.
Dragons by 3 goals 17 pts.
Braybrook Sporting Club to prevail.

Tips this week:
Albanvale def Norf 150 points
Brookers def Suns 49 points
Heights def Tarneit by 3 goals

good luck to all teams

tipping suns to upset the premiership favourites by 22 points
Heights to smash tarneit by 80 points( no disrespect to the Titans I just thinks heights will be that good)
Cobras to just get the job done against an unknown road runners outfit

no chat about heights I really think they going to be the team to beat.. have added some big names to an already quality side.

Have to like that about Heights, never see them pumping up recruits just build good sides. Also anyone that thinks your club isn't the team to beat is kidding themselves, I reckon your seniors are a 5 goal better team than the rest.

Who are the recruits for Heights?

I know of Howell, Privitera, Hinge.

hinge and privitera are going to be tough to stop up forward, young jimmy from deer park will be handy no idea who Howell is..
they just missed a gf last season

Good on them sounds like the top 4 is going to be tough then. Heights are a funny club they always seem to find players even though they don’t pay players. Kudos to their players and coaching staff.

i can’t believe games on Saturday feels surreal. Good luck Karim and the Cobs.

Cobras definitely flag favourites. Were goals better in 2019 and have only gotten stronger
Heights n Suns big smokies

No idea who Howell is? Quite possibly the toughest mid in our comp. Just ask him, he'll tell you.

Is that you slick Rick?

Handy player and a good inclusion into the unknown dragons.
So what other new players do they have? Three new players may not cut it in this division. They lost Rendle, McPherson, unsure if serafin is playing. Delta is 0.

Albanvale will have 5-8 changes, Brookers will be like 100 changes and suns have about 10 or so new players you’d think will play in round 1.

Hard to tell but personally I think top 3 is set and 4th is open (but we’ll find out this week if there’s any merit in that)
