This is beyond the joke. Lets face it boys it's under 18's local footy. Don't pump it up more then it is. We may think we are superstars but the fact of the matter is we are not. We just young men playing a game we love. I don't get why the club bashing is so high because no one has played a game of footy yet. It's round one, this weeks game will be played as a round 1 game- with passion, excitement to be playing again after a long pre season, some sloppy skills as it is the first game and some tired bodies going into the second half with not much match fitnees due to restricted grounds over the summer.
I am telling you now deer Park aren't going out for the man we are purely going out for the win and to just earn respect after not having an under 18's for so long. So for people to be taking such cheap shots at us are a disgrace and lets just play some footy before we pump our own side up too much.

The point was a good spread of Best and Fairest winners, proving talent all around, not just one star player like has been the case at Wyndhamvale in previous years.

i though deer park were talking up there ground and facilities, just a joke i guess, like when they said they go for the ball and not the player, i'll believe it when i see it, we're not gonna get sucked in and sent off, but if deer park wanna go the biff we're more then happy to accomodate them
Thanks to Deer parks ground that leaves us in a good position with our first 3 games at home..
I remember when Albanvales ground was getting done up they moved to another ground for the year, could be an option for Deer Park.

There should be a big crowd there on saturday, laverton love to come down and support whats our biggest premiership contenders, the under 18's. Also the seniors are playinh after aswell and there should be a big turn out in anticipation for that, i'm predicting that there'll be an upset, in a close game, the seniors have improver and are getting great numbers, i'm expecting about 200 - 300 to turn out for the clash

R u saying cheap shots isnt Deer Park? i remember back in under 16's(2005) there was a bit of a biff on the field between a few under 16's and all ur supporters ran on the feild causing a massive brawl with adults trying to take a swing at 15 year olds

from what i hear use arnt much chop.............
you wouldn't know you were too scared/lazy to go, its the first game of the year and we haven't had any practise matches, and if should been 10 goals we kicked 10.15 to your 7.8
