he'll be right, just bit of a hypercondriac he'll be back for next week for sure he was just playing it up abit, against braybrook which should be quite a easy game seeing that not only flemington beat them, but they beat them by 134 points!

Not much mention of Wyndhamvale's 264 point win over Yarraville. I mean thats a hell of a lot. Even if that team aint much chop, 264, come on.

Magpies have been talking themselves up, 25 points is a long way off 10 goals fellas. True you havent had any praccy's, but in the Falcons first 3 hit outs, 170 points, 72 points over GDFL runners up, and 264 points.

Look out boys.

todays game !

Fleminton won today by 127 points :thumbsu:

1 win and plenty more to come.

Have seen these boys at training, and they deffinatly are not last years team. Look like theres a bit of skill and height there and the Flemington boys were doing a fair bit of fitness work. Good job fellas best of luck to you. Will be a competitive team in 2007.

Just a wonder, whats Flemington's nickname? Like Falcons, Lions, Magpies, Blues etc??

Did you play at home falcon, how is the ground pulling up?

Nah played at Yarraville. That ground is fantastic. Just loved it. Great surface, great viewing, great electronic scoreboard. Give the Eagles credit there.

The ground down at Honor Avenue is looking good. Council has gone over it and refreshed the surface. Club wasn't allowed to train there for 3 weeks not long ago giving the grass a chance to grow in some areas. Is looking best it has in a long time.

Just like the mighty Vales, who look in great, unstoppable form.

You are as stupid as you are fat

It is not ayden bourne, its brett cox

Ayden has red hair so everyone picks on him. Hence the "bourne identity" being used by brett.

Anyway time to butter your hips so you can fit through the door to get some exercise fatso.

no need to reply to u........................mockinbird

We treated the game like it was a praccy. We put boys in possis just to try them out and we gave the better players a rest, players were playing out of position just so the coach could see what they are like, im a full back and i played at full forward all game and kicked 2 goals!! hence the coach was trying things around.

Deer Park r not a bad side, certainly better than the side the Vales played, all they need is a bit of height and they will go oright this year. We will come out this week more prepared and will actually play the game in proper positions and treat the game like its a serious game of football. Not being arrogant but we really didnt play to full potential against Deer Park our captain Errol played 10 mins thats it!! he is our best player.

We treated our praccy against both Mooney Valley and GDFL Runners Up Werribee Centrals like pracys, having our players play out of position. But we still beat a grand finalist who's side is still pretty much in tact by 12 goals. The fact use had a few diferent blokes in odd positons means nothing. 25 points a long shot off 10 goals as half the Western Magpies players claimed they would win by. And having your best player off half the match and using it as an example means one dimmensional. We had our 7 best players on the bench for a long period of the game. We don't rely on 1 bloke. That's what is going to make the Vales a good side in 2007.

Good on Deer Park too, sounds like they had a fair crack at an away venue against a good side in WMFC with their first Under 18 team in a few years. Good to see. Also Good to see a few first time Under 18 teams in this huge 14 team B div.

The game wasnt the best that either side could produce from watching. If both teams had 100% full strength sides i think the game wouldve been played a lot faster than it was on saturday. Good on magpies 4 the win, but like others have said 25 points is a long way off 60.

who were deer parks best?????

#18 and #23 were Deer Parks best by a long shot

In round 3 Flemington play Western Magpies at Lavo, looking forward to it meself just to see how Flemo will fare. We have Braybrrok this week in what could be described as a percentage booster leading upto the big round 3 game.
