Re: WWE TV thoughts pt 2 **SPOILERS**

The return was...........

Undertaker, as taker was about to take off his gear, HHHs music played over the top of Takers, HHH comes to the ring, they both look at the Wrestlemania sign, look at each other. Neck Slash, Crotch Chop, Cut to advert. Who needs to set up a feud? Pathetic segment.

Really? They had the crowd eating out of the palms of their hands, without speaking a word. Intense stare down, looking at 'Mania knowing Triple H is challenging Taker without verbally saying it. Thought it was brilliantly done. They didn't NEED to speak or even hit eachother. Just the stare down, and consider why Triple H was there. Loved it.

Dont have an issue with how it was done, more an issue of. We're so close to WM and theyre like oh shit we need another big match.
Theyve completely ignored the HHH vs Sheamus angle, Sheamus put HHH out for like a year, what is HHHs beef with taker? he has none. It was more of a throw two stars together for no reason move.

They'll work it in with HBK somehow. Don't know how exactly, but that's what they'll do.

I look at it this way. 10 years since they first went at it at Mania. He took out his best friend in the business at the very PPV that is coming up. He wants his revenge. Do not forget we do still have 5 weeks until wrestlemania, plenty of time for Triple H to address Sheamus.

Re: WWE TV thoughts pt 2 **SPOILERS**

They've let the PG thing slide a little, Cenas promo tonight, Rocks last week. Cole this week. It's definately being eased off on the road to WM. But damn, that just didn't sit right with me.

Props to King though, being okay with letting them use it to generate interest in a feud people other wise wouldn't care THAT much about.

Re: WWE TV thoughts pt 2 **SPOILERS**

Cole and Triple H's return were good and finally Cena showed the doctor of thuganomics in him. Everything else was meh especially the end.

Re: WWE TV thoughts pt 2 **SPOILERS**

Not a bad Raw, the most overhyped segment of all time failed to live up to any hype in the end.

No suprise given who was involved. Imagine promoting this massive return and all he does is walk to the ring, stare at someone and walk off...Shaping up to be a boring Wrestlemania now, Rock v Cena will probably headline Backlash  HHH v Undertaker again? zzzzzzzzzz Only hope is it truly is his retirement match

Re: WWE TV thoughts pt 2 **SPOILERS**

So what? Did Cena turn heel or something?

Re: WWE TV thoughts pt 2 **SPOILERS**

I see Triple H's reasoning for going after The Undertaker as having very little to do with HBK, and everything to do with himself and his legacy. Thinking of it in kayfabe terms, in his time off from wrestling, he's probably taken stock on his career, and thought about whether it's worth coming back at all. He'd be thinking "What more is there left to achieve?". He's won all the titles and honours possible in WWE, so there's nothing more to prove there. The only thing he hasn't done in his illustrious career is beat The Undertaker, and what better place than WrestleMania, and what better time than now? If Triple H can't beat The Undertaker - and prove that he's still got it in his to beat the best - then he may as well retire.

And that holds up in reality too - he's never beaten The Undertaker, and they haven't faced each other in a big one-on-one match for over a decade, and this may be the last chance for them to do it before one (or both) of them retires.

I thought the confrontation was awesome as well. Probably because neither man had been on television for months, I was excited to see both. Very well done - neither man said a word or threw a punch, but you knew exactly what was going down.

To be honest, I'm happy for them to bypass the Triple H-Sheamus beef, as I see this as a more exciting match worthy of a WrestleMania build. Sheamus taking out Triple H was just a way to further build the Irishman's credibility. Having Triple H come back and destroy him (which is the only logical direction for it to go) would just be boring and samey, especially as we he and Sheamus faced each other at WrestleMania last year. I see The Undertaker and Kane as having more pressing unfinished business myself, but I'm happy for that to be put on hold as well until after WrestleMania (if it ever sees a reprisal at all).

Re: WWE TV thoughts pt 2 **SPOILERS**

Hate to say it but cena's rap was on point.

Re: WWE TV thoughts pt 2 **SPOILERS**

Cant believe people rated Cenas rap. It was terrible, a shade of his former ability. Probably about 3 people in the arena cheered him at any one point.

Re: WWE TV thoughts pt 2 **SPOILERS**

Tweener Cena > Kiddie pandering Cena. :thumbsu:

Whilst it was good to see them back, HHH vs Taker facing off with no acknowledgment as for the reasons they were written off TV was a bit poor.

IWC would hate HHH again if he beat Taker though.

Oh and f*** the Tag Titles off, most repetitive storyline having WM combatants win the titles only to lose em again shortly thereafter.

Other than that, an ok Raw. :p

Would of liked to see Cena and Miz hold onto the titles. How were the cheers Miz was getting in that match.

Re: WWE TV thoughts pt 2 **SPOILERS**

I'm not sure why Cena's getting such rave reviews. I thought his promo was terrible. He should stick to the local cafe if he wants to do some poetry reading. The Miz's on the other hand was absolutely spot on and a perfect response.

Loved the way they showcased Miz in the tag matches. That was the first time since Miz won the title that they actually pushed him as a competent ring wrestler.

I liked it, but that hinted at the possible 'bigger picture' thing they had a while back. Miz pinned him and none of them ran into break the pin, seemed a bit odd.

Spot on, my thoughts exactly.

Thought miz was alot better than Cena. Crowd was way more into it too.
