6th Xbox One ?

I had 5 Xbox 360's (original, insurance replacement, my own replacement because the insurance replacement was taking too long, replacing one of the replacement consoles and the LE MW 3 console).

I'm still running my original Xbox One from nearly 3 years ago.

I currently have 6 different One's.

Day One edition, Elite edition OG with the SSD, the launch version One S 2tb, Scorpio Edition X, Minecraft S console and this Purple rocket.

I collect whatever takes my fancy but I prefer Xbox for whatever reason. I'm just at the point where I don't have to sell to get my next one. I do have about 30 or 40 consoles, going back 30 years.

I do feel like MS does a lot more in terms of special editions.

I loved the comparatively few specials on the OG Xbox. Halo green, Crystal, Skull grey. Plus I just loved modding that thing as a teenager and even today. 360 and PS3 was a bit meh. Now that I have consoles as media centres on every screen in the house, I have no qualms running 5 XB1's and I do! Will retire one for the new purple.

Do you collect the controllers too? MS do a wondferul ltd edition controller. Really want to add a phantom controller to it, but can't justify purchase as i have 5 already

I bloody love Xbox controller's and I do collect some that catch my eye. I play on 3 Elite's and a standard white S controller, so I have new, unused versions of the Sea of Thieves, both Minecraft's (love that pig controller), Day One, Scorpio and Titanfall. And I probably won't use this new purple one either.

I wish I bought the Gears Elite controller and I really like the light grey, with green accents controller, that looks kind of like the first 360 controller.

I've got a fair few white controllers on the 360 (each console I owned came with 2). My favourite is the steel controller I purchased (one of the first with the rotating dpad). The MW3 LE controllers were cool too.

I only have the standard black and the first white controller on the XBO.

Yeah I have that MW3 console as well, those rotating dpads were ace. My favourite 360 controller is probably the C3PO. I have one tucked away somewhere with the R2 console.

I've only got the 500 million controller, which made me regret not getting the console as it's so nice.

I really loved the Microsoft conference today. So much to unpack.

I immediately pre-ordered the new Elite V2 controller. Bluetooth will be perfect for my new PC build. The docking station and rechargeable battery are nice too, I guess. I've always liked using AA's though.

The Elite is the greatest controller on Earth, if you have a good one but there have been a lot of issues with build quality. I have replaced 3, all for different reasons. If they fix up those issues, which they look like they have (different grips, triggers and sticks), it's a no brainer.

Not sure if its elsewhere but know it's in the E3 thread, but is everyone across the $1 Gamepass Ultimate upgrade?

Will convert existing sub of either gamepass/gold into Ultimate for the length of the existing subscription, just for $1. Really good for PC and XB1 users.

Haven't come across a direct quote but rumors are the deal might finish soon.

Assuming you're on a recurring monthly sub? There's a lot of moving parts with how it all works but I think the best bet in your case would be to cancel, and then purchase a 12 month sub for gold, then do the $1 upgrade, but yeah think you should be able to.

Great game. Only takes about 3 hours or so but very worth it.

I just bought my first xbox. $265 new on Amazon so I now own all three consoles. Really wanted to play Outer Wilds and the game pass has so many great games that I never played so it should keep me entertained till the next generation on the cheap. My goal is to not buy 1 game for it as I have a PS4 Pro for the new releases, we shall see.
