Any idea on whether EB will honour the Xbox one x trade-in price if you can't get a console at launch?

eb games online 2nd pre orders accepted midday sharp, might not be any in store consoles till august 2021 they say. can get 300 cash back trading in my old ps4 and games toward either console

Can't help but feel that trying to release these consoles in the middle of a global pandemic was awfully silly. Would have been better off delaying the consoles by 6 - 12 months.
