Roberts will have to play mid and mills defence
I think it'll be added Centre Bounces for Gulden (41% against Port), Warner (55%), Papley (9%). Roberts will get some, but will mainly be off half-forward. Warner will rotate between wing and the forward line too, to allow for the added minutes of the others.

Logan has never even seen a defensive 50, let alone played there.
He's gone back a few times to help out. Look, it's either him or Amartey if we shift someone tall down there to combat the resting ruck. I'll go with Logan.

Hopefully Blakey and Mills can sort it out, and we don't need to.

You think ? Cue in rack. Season in tatters. Yep after just 4 Rds. Massive injury toll and to key players, important so called better players out of form, blokes just floating along being given the luxury of being gifted games and as a collective just plain flat and lacking cohesiveness. GF was a beat down no doubt but the way this season is panning out is just s**t. Oh ! And to rub salt into the wounds you have an ageing Legend of the game who has served this club as well if not better than any past Champion a very sad site to watch.
Only thing that is sadder is to read bs posts on here that would have you believe it’s his fault because he is not the once freakish Champion he was.
It is his fault for calling for the ball in terrible positions. But not his fault for getting old. That is life. He is still a very good player. But he does present as a huge target for the players upfield. I believe 56% of our entries still go to Bud whether he is in a good position or not. He demands the ball and the players upfield just give it to him. After all he is the Great Buddy Franklin. We have to lose that train of thought and treat him like a first year player.

This weekend we need to win the clearances as if it gets into their forward line we will be annihilated. We just do not have any talks there. They have Riewaldt and Cumberland and I think Balta will swing forward to stretch us even more. Balta could kick 10 on out smalls.

I think we should just not bother lol. It is at The Adelaide Oval (we don't do well there) , NO backline, problems scoring. Needless to say I am not confident.

Mills will go back no doubt if Gould does not pass the fitness test. That helps. Roberts to the mids.Who gets 23? Sheldrick if Gould does not play?

We are sooooo ****ed

If Gould can be an emergancy he should be playing
It's quite possibly that he isn't playing, but just named him because we have to name 4. The other 3 are the potential ins. We may also be hoping that there's some late improvement, and we could spring a surprise.

We are right in this even with our outs, Richmond have massive outs too. Bud was going terribly so him out isn't huge imo. The forward line iwll be fine if given opportunities. Against Port we went forward plenty of times but just bombed it to Bud too often and Aliir dominated. Without Bid we are far less predictable.

The McCartins and Rampe out are massive but this looks like one forward line that we might be able to cobble a decent performance against. Fox will take an ageing Riewoldt I suspect and then Mills, Blakey to take Ryan/Miller, Campbell to Bolton. Dusty doesn't have an obvious match up, I suspect Florent might get the job. That could be a match determining match up.

Ladhams should have a field day against Ryan/Miller which could be a massive help. Tigers have been poor in clearances which we could have some success with. If Mills plays in defence, it gives Warner, Rowbottom, Errol all the time in the midfield with Parker which I also don't think is a bad thing.

Cumberland is 183cm, I'm not sure he's going to stretch our defence, even if it consisted of only 6 Harry Cunninghams.

Balta will stay down back, they have 3 KPFs to deal with, and Heeney.

No way we win this. Aside from no talls down back, Cunningham unbelievably gets another 3-5 possession game. Rowbottom will lay more tackles than lay his mitts on the ball. Hill Wayward chalks up yet another game
With so many outs I doubt they wanted to make any unforced changes aswell. Harry will likely be out as soon as there are minimal other changes to the team. That might take a couple of weeks but he was dropped last season and couldn't force his way back in so I'm sure the coaches won't hesitate when they get the chance

He'll be playing a completely different role this week, if the naming in the backline is correct.
