We are right in this even with our outs, Richmond have massive outs too. Bud was going terribly so him out isn't huge imo. The forward line iwll be fine if given opportunities. Against Port we went forward plenty of times but just bombed it to Bud too often and Aliir dominated. Without Bid we are far less predictable.

The McCartins and Rampe out are massive but this looks like one forward line that we might be able to cobble a decent performance against. Fox will take an ageing Riewoldt I suspect and then Mills, Blakey to take Ryan/Miller, Campbell to Bolton. Dusty doesn't have an obvious match up, I suspect Florent might get the job. That could be a match determining match up.

Ladhams should have a field day against Ryan/Miller which could be a massive help. Tigers have been poor in clearances which we could have some success with. If Mills plays in defence, it gives Warner, Rowbottom, Errol all the time in the midfield with Parker which I also don't think is a bad thing.
Riewoldt - Fox
Ryan/Miller - Blakey
Bolton - Florent
Martin - Mills
Mansell - Lloyd
Cumberland - Cunningham
Sonsie - Campbell

I reckon we could win every one of those matchups. Not that I expect Lloyd on Mansell to be a matchup really.

Last time we played Richmond at a neutral venue (R6, 2020):

Richmond 4.10.34 def Sydney 3.8.26

Rowy our only goal-kicker (with Papley).
Was that the game where Damian Hardwick (reigning premiership coach) blamed us (16th placed team) for it being a low-scoring scrap?

I also seem to remember Rowbottom kicking an amazing goal in that game(??) where the ball went from half back to inside 50 with Rowbottom somehow being the only player to actually possess the ball and then he kicked it from about 50 out on the run off the side of his boot.

Understand that it's a different team he's in now, so there are others who can do shit like that now, but it would be nice to see him playing like that again. I know we love his doggedness with tackling, but he can do some bloody brilliant things with the footy.

Richmond aren't a traditional side in respect of fwd structure.

Especially without Lynch.

You need to break down their rush . Then turn the pill over and score going the other way.

maybe gould is just the latest to make the Daniel Currie team

Would love to see that too. But either he is out of form or following instructions.

I think after the next 4 rounds we will all be looking forward to 2024.

you never know

we have a lot of unknowns

maybe they work out, Armatey goes back for example and it's like wow he is a backman

and mcdonald without buddy goes on a rampage, heeney and papley kick in

warner brothers battle for most touches etc

Have watched Amartey play down back in the 2s...he was clueless

1. I hope it buckets down

2. Don't be surprised if our back six run through the banner with 3-foot ladders tucked under their arms
Given the Harry Potter theme some are wanting to go with, we could ask the AFL if we're allowed broomsticks to spoil.
