Just finished part 1 of this week's pod. I'm sort of glad it's done, I've listened since the start with Grant Thomas etc. I did like the unfiltered nature of it but really listening out of habit for a while.

Really got oer him banging on about the same social issues etc. I didn't disagree with all of what he was saying about Welcome to Country but he went a bit far with trying to get people to boo etc, feel that's finished him off.
Been very negative for a while with the same social content.
Best episodes is when there is laughter and no discussion of the political environment in society but unfortunately, when it is your show, your production equipement, you drive the content.

I wonder how much is left that Don didn't dismantle?

Worst part is I can remember Sam pre and early Footy Show days being a really decent interviewer. Did profiles for the Age I think it was and was very good on the footy on AW in the 90s. Sadly, he's too old, too bitter and too far down the rabbit hole now.

I hope the guy who listens from Israel is still alive 🙏🤞

I was a bit annoyed that Sam cut Don short when he was talking about him and then that other guy thought it was an appropriate time for a Jewish joke.

....in fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Don came back in a couple of weeks, after they both calm down from their tizzies :tongueoutv1:
I think it was all a setup. Like what we see on reality television
Hope you are both right but I get the feeling 'You Cannot Be Serious' has joined 'Sam, Mike & Thomo' in the podcast graveyard. Sam also said on Twitter/X that even if Don re-considered it "wouldn't be the same". I take that to mean that Sam understands there is no turning back.

I don't know if Don would play along with that, have no real idea. I guess generally I'm not surprised Don walked out, I've often wondered if he actually enjoyed being on it
He often said he did not enjoy it but that doing the podcast took him out of his comfort zone which was a challenge he embraced.
