I think it relies on Heeney, Warner, Gulden and Grundy. I think we will cope should one or two of our key talls go down, but I don't know how we will cope if one of those 4 goes down
all subjective but imoFor me best players since Plugger
1. Buddy
2. Goodes
3. C.Bolton
4. Kennedy
5. Hall
6. Kirk
7. Papley
8. Mills
9. Kennelly
10. Richards
Though I am likely forgetting someone.
The arrogance of one Giants fan.
"We were comfortably beaten by a team that’s likely to lose in the second round of the finals. This is our year".
No. You are not entitled to it being "our year" and it actually requires more than just taking guys out and silly memes. You actually have to show up.
Their finals record against us has given them a false hope that their team isn’t capable of living up to.

Also feels a bit disrespectful to even talk about it to be honest. Buddy was the best player to play in the red and white since Plugger.
Fans rate their club
so?
You really like me lately huh.

It’s off topic, but kinda fun - so here’s my top 10:all subjective but imo
If it's as a swan then Buddy is not 1, and there is no way JPK is 4 he should be 1 or 2 behind Goodes.
Papley Kennelly and Mills don't even belong on the list ? How Mills ahead of say Hannebery or Parker or even Heeney?
Heath Grundy ?
wow did you drink before the list
good job though
It’s off topic, but kinda fun - so here’s my top 10:
1. Goodes
2. Paul Kelly
3. JPK
4. Buddy
5. Jude Bolton
6. Maxfield
7. Ryan O’Keefe
8. Hall
9. Kirk
10. Parker
You are a great poster
I didn't meant it like * you, I meant oh well good luck to them, everyone talks and twists how the game went to suit what their side did .
Apologies
No worries. The Hayward topic gets me pretty up and about lol.

IMO the evenness of our team means there are only three players I think we'd be royally ****ed if we had to play a substantial number of games this season without: McCartin, Rowbottom, Heeney.
And the latter isn't even structural at all, purely just because of his sheer talent that is on another level to literally every player on the ground, every single week.
I hope McCartin is OK and we get him back as soon as is safe and possible to do so.
Blasphemy. No LRT. How we forget so easily. It’s off topic, but kinda fun - so here’s my top 10:
1. Goodes
2. Paul Kelly
3. JPK
4. Buddy
5. Jude Bolton
6. Maxfield
7. Ryan O’Keefe
8. Hall
9. Kirk
10. Parker
Errol will be on the list within a few years. Heeney likely too.
Potentially unpopular opinion but I don't know I agree. Can I add one more-- Grundy
Insert Ladhams back for him and we lose a lot
Carlton play Melbourne next week. Might drop out of the 8 Kingy. Haha.Oh and EAD David King.
Blew up Carlton. Loss.
GWS. Meh.
All 2 of their fans said that? The arrogance of one Giants fan.

And where pray tell is Jack Hiscox ? Nonsense list and disrespects a stalwart of the club who played the 1449th most games in the red and whiteIt’s off topic, but kinda fun - so here’s my top 10:
1. Goodes
2. Paul Kelly
3. JPK
4. Buddy

Not so sure about your top 10 - it is pretty subjective - FWIW I got railed for missing Jones' the other week. In any event depending on when you determine since plugger, but lets go with retirement date, Maxfield and Kelly should gain at least a place in the top 10 and Rampe has had a greater impact than Kennelly and Richards. What about Jude Bolton? For me best players since Plugger
1. Buddy
2. Goodes
3. C.Bolton
4. Kennedy
5. Hall
6. Kirk
7. Papley
8. Mills

Yep subjective but arguably in the ball parkIt’s off topic, but kinda fun - so here’s my top 10:
1. Goodes
2. Paul Kelly
3. JPK
4. Buddy
5. Jude Bolton
6. Maxfield

Granted I think he had his best game yet tap-wise yesterday, but I feel like Grundy has mostly been a workhorse ruck for us, rather than a masterful tap ruck. Winning his own ball and the subsequent clearances. Following up with the defensive efforts. And generally just making contests in the ruck to at least nullify any chance of opposition ruck dominance.
I believe all of the above is replicable by Ladhams if he's in form. It's basically what Hickey used to do when at his best, we just didn't get it enough from him. Grundy's delivering it week on week. I don't see why Ladhams couldn't.
Where I do agree with you is that our midfielders look more proactive around the contest this year and I think the injection of a quality ruckman has allowed that. Maybe they'd revert back to not having as much confidence in their ability to win the ball out of stoppages and would set up more defensively as a kneejerk response if they lost Grundy.
Hey now - if you've got enough time to go off topic then one of you has enough time to do the Preview thread for the Fremantle game....
