We needed Richmond to score 68 on Freo for us to be the best defensive team in the AFL... and Freo have kept them to 13 points in the first half...

c'mon Richmond, have a crack you campaigners

I said we don't fly up for losses. We didn't fly up for a loss.

Geez we were pretty blood good. Especially the back 6. A 34yo coming off a soft tissue, key back going off early in the 2nd quarter, Melican clearly hampered and Blakey only having 10 touches and they stood up.

We adjusted to the conditions so much better and that's what good sides do. Good sides go into quarter time being 15 points down and figure out what's going wrong, and fix it. We did just that.

That win has really set up a top 4 charge for the rest of the season. Somewhat favourable draw (Brisbane away, Carlton/Geelong/Collingwood at home, Port away, really the only "tough" ones), but the fact we haven't really got out of 4th gear yet, with Parker and Mills to come back in at some point, is all such good signs.

Thank you!!

Oops. Sorry! Looks like its been taken care of. My bad! And is already taken.

Not unhappy 😂

I was just going to write what a pile of shit freo were

I remember how good he was, though I have some biases against him due to the alligations against him which I think were quite credible. Probably shouldn't let my personal feelings get in the way but if he is line ball those personal feelings are going to play a contributing factor.

Understand and it's also just subjective , we all like different things in players.

One player I really rated for us was Paul Williams for instance thought he led our midfield for a while there .

I think it relies on Heeney, Warner, Gulden and Grundy. I think we will cope should one or two of our key talls go down, but I don't know how we will cope if one of those 4 goes down
I pretty much agree but the best thing about the 2024 Swans is we have so many good players across the team… so even when a few of them are a bit quiet, others have been stepping up (eg. the 3 talls didn’t kick many yesterday, but Hayward popped up with 4)👍💪

We need someone to replace Rampe as we are several levels better with him.

I think we all celebrate every one of our wins and some more than others.

Honestly I was as surprised and delighted by the win v GWS as I was surprised and disappointed in the loss to the Tigers. Whether there really had been a number of fellas affected by a virus (to my knowledge not confirmed by the Club) or a number had nearly drowned in the bath, who knows.

It was undeniably a very poor loss, just as yesterday was imo a most meritorious win. The loss of TMac (to a deliberate elbow to the face) posed challenges for our backline against a strong Giants fwd line and rain esp in the 2ndQ which does not help our precision kicking , both offered challenges we overcame.

Not sure anyone could have been happy with the Tiger loss.
Mate, no-one could have been happy about the loss... I totally agree!

But an unexpected, not to say completely surprising loss, is bound to generate more conversation that a good win any day. I did not mean to sound like the loss was okay... just that when there is a loss, there are a million different reasons as to why, who played so poorly the contributed to the loss, what the coaches could've, should've done, and what we would've done in their place.

Having said that, we're still whinging and whining... and given we're all Swans supporters here, where better to do it? I don't know about yours, but my friends and family will not put up with me bemoaning the loss of sports games for hours on end... Lol! (But perhaps that is a NSW thing?)

Anyway, it wasn't a criticism of the board in general, I thought you'd all have a laugh and agree with me... I meant it as an all inclusive statement, not to single one or even a few board members... We're all dirty when we lose!

Why do I comment on facebook.
Said he was lucky to get 3, considering he took a guy out for a game maybe a few
more.

Got one reply saying wasn't even a free kick,
another saying Mccartin family have glass jaws so he shouldn't even be playing.
