Anthony Morabito wouldn’t have been random or obscure if he had a full career.

The talent he had.

Andrew McGovern, the nuggety backman. While we had Scotty Chisolm doing some weird stuff. McGovern was so reliable with good kick to get us out of trouble.

Still can't believe we didn't get Jeremy 😞

Shane Yarran, as already mentioned :(

And I50 specialist Mitch Crowden. I personally thought of Adam Cerra as Crowden-lite.

Was going to say Mitch Crowden too. His draft highlights reel was so exciting and only topped by JTs video for me.

For a while I thought JT was heading down the same path.

Crowden had moments where it was clear there was a good player there, but maybe it was his size or being played out of position but he never looked like he was going to make a case for best 22.

But I would have bet anything that he would have been on the list longer than Banfield who was taken the next day in the Rookie Draft.

Andrew Siegert is one for me, will always remember when he ran David Wojinski down from behind in the middle of Subi at a really important time with the game in the balance. Would love to see footage of it again, have looked many times without success.

Clem Michael.
Always thought he played 100 games, growing up as a kid.
Guy was seriously talented, and surprisingly 192cm. Smart with the taps. Pity ACL specialists weren’t around then. He would’ve had the best care now and push on with a solid career .

Adam Campbell.
Thought he was decent, just never get game time. Being a forward at Fremantle is tough work throughout AFL history
.

Tom Vandeleur is a name I think was never brought up as a potential debut, just perpetually stuck in the WAFL.

Josh Mellington and Justin Bollenhagen

Nick lower anyone?

Feel we are missing the 50 goal forward messiah from the pies jack (john) anthony

Paul Medhurst.

An absolute gun and a good bloke too.

Did kick 9 against Brisbane back in 04. Kicked 50 in 03. I was devastated he was traded as steak knives for Tarrant. Number 34 at freo always has a special place for me (even if he did swap to 6 in his last season with us)

Gary Dhurrkay RIP. Really embodied what those early Freo teams were. Fun, fast skilful. A great guy off the field from all reports and a leader of his ppl.

Delisted from Freo and Roos picked him with pick #31 in the draft.. unheard of today!
God our list management was so amateurish in those days.🤦🏻‍♂️

You know what...Adam McPhee had some really good moments of play. Hard as a cats head and a fairly decent player.

Then he'd turn around and double first the ball out of bounds when he could've marked it.... while we're down by 10 with 3 mins to go.

Would’ve got us close to the flag had he played on in 2013.
He was only 30 at the time he retired.
