Your first Crows game

Hmm, my first Crowies game. Well, being a Crows member, I believe it would have been around 2001-2002. I'll have a look at my old "Silver Member" badges!

The first match I can recall is possibly either a Brissy or a Freo match.. Freo wore white that match. I sat just left of the away cheer squad at AAMI for a while... or was that the Crows cheers squad... Small details like that evade me. Tony Hall pocket half of the ground.. It's been a while since AAMI Stadium :D

First Crows match for me was the first Crows match! That trial game against Essendon at Football Park. Was also at Round 1, 1991 against Hawthorn.

OG, dawgs.
Ditto. Nice warm night that Essendon match

91 vs rd14 Brisbane. Sat undercover north eastern 50m line. Pretty nothing sort of easy game.

Second game was rd20 vs WC in 91 and we got dusted. Hocking dummied around the mark for a goal from memory and smart took one of the marks of the year in defensive 50. I remember my brother was more excited that rostrevor beat Blackwood high in the curtain raiser for the samboy? or Pizza Hut? Cup. Whatever it was back then.

Didn't have some kid called Ben running around then did they?

My Dad took me to the January 1991 Essendon Game. I was 9 at the time. Have barely missed a game since. 1997 AFL Grand Final as a 15 year was a great experience that I cant wait for again.

My dad took me in the early 90s to a night game when I was like 6 or 7. We played Sydney and got pumped by like 70 points.

EDIT: I reckon it was this game.

I know Weidemann played because I remember the "WEEEEEEED". I would've been 8 :)

I went to that game too - We never went to many games, so I think it was my fourth or fifth AFL game - Was also the first time I saw the Crows lose

I remember finding a pair of season tickets on the ground as we walked back to the car - Obviously someone was over seeing the Crows lose

Let's see. I had the opportunity to go to my first ever Crows game (against the Tigers, the game Richo fractured his eye socket) back in 2007 after the Crows came to my primary school and gave me tickets to the game (my teacher organised for them to come because I made a Crows book for one of my projects). I didn't go so those two tickets went to my friends. Wish I went as it took 5 more years until I finally went to a game.

Anyways, the 2nd Showdown in 2012 was my first game attending. It was a Port home Showdown and my classmates and I were given free tickets to the Mezzanine Floor of AAMI Stadium for the game. What I remember from the night game was that I went there on the bus with my friends, arrived at AAMI Stadium, went into the lift to go to the Mezzanine and accidentally went a level higher than I should've and entered the Corporate Box floor instead. Went into one of the boxes, showed them the ticket and they let me stay for some reason. About 5 or 10 minutes later my friend found me and laughed as we made our way to the Mezzanine Floor boxes. I still laugh about it every now and then.

The game itself was great. Sauce dominated Lobbe en route to the Showdown Medal. Ricky Henderson was thrown into the forward line after Tippett suffered his one of many concussions that year and managed to kick 6 goals. Tim McIntyre was also on debut. Brodie Martin had three goals that game and Patty Dangerfield had 30-odd touches and a few goals as well. We won by 10+ goals and it was such a good game.

My first Crows 'home' game was the West Coast game last year where we won comfortably.

And this year I finally became a member and I've been to both our home games so far. Here's to many more. :D

2002 vs Brisbane at AAMI a Saturday night we knocked off the reigning premiers.
Still have the DVD floating around somewhere 02 season in review. Anyone know why they stopped producing these DVD's? 02 is the last i recall seeing

1992 Round 6 at Football Park vs. Fitzroy. Don't remember very much about the game, though we won and someone near me yelled "Hit him with your handbag Liptak!".

First game was 1994 Round 12 vs North Melbourne at Princes Park, we got smashed...

First game in Adelaide was 1998 Round 16 vs Carlton at Footy Park. Modra's comeback game. I remember the biggest cheer of the night was when Mods came off the bench for the first time for the game. It also happened to be at the same time Carlton kicked a goal so it was funny to hear such a load cheer for an opposition goal. McLeod was out injured for the game and I got him to sign my crows jester hat which I still have
