The last two points were geniunely serious at this stage. I reckon Carlton may not win too many games and Jack Redden will have an amazing year. At this stage at least.

sorry man, i was trying to crack wise and nitpick... you said nic nat to finish top 3 in the brownlow, but had a 3-way tie for the win. as he wasnt one of the three winners, he couldnt possibly finish top 3.

3. Punters will continue to spend ludicrous amounts of money with the bookies on all sorts of imaginative bets (because just picking who's going to win is boring, apparently), causing the bookies to plaster every frickin' surface with advertising and odds (an absolute blight on the game), despite the fact that the probability that said punters will actually return a profit on said punting over the long term is... basically zero.

In short - I predict that in 2013, the average person will remain utterly, utterly terrible at maths.
