Sydney could very well drop off. They have quite a few veterans who will lose speed and struggle with injuries.

Beyond that, look what happened to the Hawks in 2008. They had heaps of young, blossoming players like Franklin, Roughead, Birchall, Rioli, Lewis, Young, Ellis, Gilham etc who were only ever meant to improve, there was no way they could go backwards but many of them did in 2009. The same thing could happen with Kennedy, Jack, Hannebery, Jetta, Reid, Parker, Smith, etc. You never know.

Having said that, I don't think that will happen.

1. North to win the first 6 games while harvey is suspended, will be in top 4 by round 10.
2. Richmond to make the top 8 and win an elimination final.
3. Essendon to miss the top 8 again.

-Geelong and Hawthorn to play out a draw.
-Carlton and Collingwood will meet sometime during the finals
-Essendon to continue their dreaded run of injuries and just scrape into the 8

Gary Ablett Jr to finish top 3 in the brownlow again.

Richmond to finish in the top 8.

Goddard still looks a bit cranky.

1. Arryn Siposs has a monster breakout season.
2. Brisbane will play finals.
3. Jack Watts will be a standout for Melbourne, and they will win enough games to get out of the bottom four.

1. Neither Essendon nor Carlton will make the 8, again.
2. Certain teams to retain a huge amount of Salary Cap space due to lack of quality FA this year (Adelaide, Sydney, possibly Fremantle). Meaning next year competition will be more fierce in the FA window.
3. Ablett to receive less brownlow votes while Dangerfield, Fyfe and Cotchin fight it out.

1. Collingwood, Freo, Sydney, Hawthorn for top 4
2. Jack Riewoldt, Buddy and Pav to all kick 75+ goals
3. Richmond to play the entire top 8 from this year inside the first 12 rounds, why change hey AFL :(

1. One of Hird/Voss/Buckley will be sacked due to under performance (Brisbane finishing below 10 again, Essendon not making 8 again, Collingwood dropping out of top 4) This will then be followed by one more being sacked in 2014, only one will remain in 2015 (My guess Buckley)
2. North & Geelong to drop out of the 8, Collingwood & Adelaide to drop out of the 4
3. Murphy & Cotchin to become the dominant midfielders in the competition.

I would take yours as more of a critism of his opinion though

Or how it was meant, as a frustration that even after winning the Premiership everyone is again saying the Swans won't make the 4/8.
