Not that it is be and end all, but North's stocks have really plummeted lately.. (Not just with the losses, but their massive list of injuries/question marks about their medical/fitness staff)
Zac Williams would fit nicely into Carltons midfield.
The Lions have salary cap space, would be a nice fit, McCluggage on one wing and Zac on the other. Would be a great trifecta of trades in Charlie Cameron > Lachie Neale > Zac Williams + Jarryd Lyons for nothing for the quadrella.

Zac is probably still most suited to the Whitfield half-back/wing role. But just imagine a midfield of Lyons (defensive) + Neale (balanced/extractor) + Williams (offensive)... Couldn't imagine a better balance.
Zac's a rarity on the Giants list. He's made it clear he'll play where required but prefers half back to midfield.
Expected role usually play a a part in p l Ayers choices, and he will have choices.
Pretty sure I read recently he wants to be like Tim Taranto in midfield.

He’s likely gone .... gives us money to keep Hately, Caldwell etc and gives us a 1st round pick
Maybe an end of first round pick. Not sure he gets band one compo.

The same way probably 99.9% of people "know"... from media reports and some subtle hints from David Noble of the last couple of trade periods.
Would be perfect to replace Harbrow or Hanley off the HB line.

Hopefully Richmond can get him with the promise of a full-time midfield role and a quality medical team that has been able to keep Prestia and Lynch on the park despite their extensive injury histories before coming down to Vic

Didn’t see prestia friday night
I wonder if this would make my club an attractive option. Most clubs have cash to splash so things like this are likely to influence his decision in the end.
That said there's plenty of clubs with some wonderful indigenous players.

If, IF, he goes it won’t be for a rebuild or a club that isn’t socially conscious.

So if he does go then Richmond, Carlton, St Kilda, Lions, or Geelong probably. The Clarkson factor might bring Hawks into it.
Essendon aren't rebuilding but I wouldn't call them socially conscious.

Well I believe the Bulldogs will offer Williams a big contract and influence him with the amount of talent on our list, and ask the question if he could be a mentor for Ugle-Hagan which I’m sure would help bring Williams to the club.
I think you guys got Martin over us because of the Eddie Betts inclusion. Apparently we offered more $$ and Martin chose you guys. Wingard was a little different , Hawthorn actually offered a little more than us as Clarko was desperate to get another Cyril.

Every club has community outreach programmes for members of the indigenous community. Port aren't special or unique in that regard.
