Zac is probably still most suited to the Whitfield half-back/wing role. But just imagine a midfield of Lyons (defensive) + Neale (balanced/extractor) + Williams (offensive)... Couldn't imagine a better balance. The Lions have salary cap space, would be a nice fit, McCluggage on one wing and Zac on the other. Would be a great trifecta of trades in Charlie Cameron > Lachie Neale > Zac Williams + Jarryd Lyons for nothing for the quadrella.

Pretty sure I read recently he wants to be like Tim Taranto in midfield.Zac's a rarity on the Giants list. He's made it clear he'll play where required but prefers half back to midfield.
Expected role usually play a a part in p l Ayers choices, and he will have choices.
Maybe an end of first round pick. Not sure he gets band one compo. He’s likely gone .... gives us money to keep Hately, Caldwell etc and gives us a 1st round pick
Caldwell in the team again this week and if he gets games he’ll stay.Maybe an end of first round pick. Not sure he gets band one compo.
Caldwell is likely to leave either way I think
He's out the door I thinkCaldwell in the team again this week and if he gets games he’ll stay.
How would you know this? The Lions have salary cap space,
The same way probably 99.9% of people "know"... from media reports and some subtle hints from David Noble of the last couple of trade periods. How would you know this?
Would be perfect to replace Harbrow or Hanley off the HB line.Suns should be all over him with as many $$$ as they can responsibly afford.
Replace Hanley/Harbrow or free up Jack Bowes into the midfield.
Hopefully Richmond can get him with the promise of a full-time midfield role and a quality medical team that has been able to keep Prestia and Lynch on the park despite their extensive injury histories before coming down to Vic
I wonder if this would make my club an attractive option. Most clubs have cash to splash so things like this are likely to influence his decision in the end.Not that he needs a Aboriginal mentor, it just helps.
I also know for a fact we missed out on Impey, Wingard and Jack Martin which was a negative influence that we didn’t have any indigenous players on our list.
So if he does go then Richmond, Carlton, St Kilda, Lions, or Geelong probably. The Clarkson factor might bring Hawks into it.If, IF, he goes it won’t be for a rebuild or a club that isn’t socially conscious.
He has done the rebuild before and while up here as been big in the community, especially indigenous.

That said there's plenty of clubs with some wonderful indigenous players.
Didn’t see prestia friday night
If he is big on Indigenous Community work, Port would be a good fit with our community programs. If, IF, he goes it won’t be for a rebuild or a club that isn’t socially conscious.

Every club has community outreach programmes for members of the indigenous community. Port aren't special or unique in that regard. If he is big on Indigenous Community work, Port would be a good fit with our community programs.
If (when) Wines goes would be happy if Port made a play for Williams.
Ports is next level, lead the competition in that regard.Every club has community outreach programmes for members of the indigenous community. Port aren't special or unique in that regard.
