"The Biden—now Harris—campaign committee raised $997.2 million and Trump’s campaign committee raised $388 million in total between Jan. 2023 and Oct. 16, 2024, the most recent date for which Federal Election Commission filings are available, ending with $118 million and $36.2 million in cash on hand, respectively.

While the campaigns won’t report their full finances again until after Election Day, candidates are still required to report donations of $1,000 or above to the FEC within 48 hours—which are largely breaking for Harris, whose campaign raised $19.5 million from bigger donors between Oct. 17 and Nov. 1, as compared with only $4.5 million for Trump.

The Harris campaign raised $97.2 million in the first half of October alone, while the Trump campaign raised only $16.2 million, after Harris shook up what was previously a more evenly matched cash race (Biden and Trump had raised $284.1 million and $217.2 million in total as of the end of June, respectively).

The Harris Victory Fund—which raises money for both Harris’ campaign and Democratic groups—raised $1.2 billion this election cycle, according to a FEC filing released on Oct. 24"

All that money to spend on I’m not even sure what, but come up with ideas to campaign with Liz Cheney and become BFFs with neocons.

The Democratic Party can go **** themselves.

Show me the bullshit assertion that most people are working 3 out of 5 days to fund tax?

Show me where the 60% tax rate is mentioned.

Do you understand tax is not limited to income tax?

If I stop and equate that with time, many private sector workers ARE public servants for 3 out of 5 days of every working week they just don't know it. Its depressing.

So, you said 'many'. I assume you'll split that hair even though 'many' is the unsupportable exaggeration I was referring to. Because literally no-one in the private sector is effectively working 3 days of 5 to fund their tax liabilities (total of income + indirect taxes).

3/5 = 60%. Surely the only point you were making, or why would you say it?

I was the one who explained to you that tax includes income tax and non-income tax, so yeah.

I know you're feeling foolish and need to save face, but it's getting pathetic. Every post is a demonstration of why Trump is able to lie to people and benefit from that.

I might have replied properly, but I'm not really interested in engaging with someone who thinks in pictures.
Can't you copy and paste a few words with a reference?

Go draw a cartoon or something.

LOL. It's a literal transcription of his braindead response in an interview on Fox.

Looks like you're another one who only likes favourable interpretations of Trump's lies.

I've received some juvenile snipes over the journey but "Go draw a cartoon or something" is right up there with the most witless of them all.

Australians on their knees for trump are no better

Been looking at the numbers all day. Staggering to think that neither candidate reached the lofty heights of 2020.
Had the Dems actually managed to be for the workers and progressives I dont think yesterday happens. But at the present that ain't happening any time soon.

My take from it all, if people were being honest. The election was not an endorsement of Trump and the Republicans at all. If so, they would have gained more votes than last time. Instead they were even less popular. Haven't compared the figures for the battle ground states yet.

In my opinion, this election was instead a massive middle finger / f**k you to the Democrats mostly from their own base. They lost because 15 million people less didn't even bother rocking up to vote. Picking some lawyer out of San Francisco, prancing around on stage with millionaire and billionaire celebs. Refusing to take a stand on issues like Gaza, in which post election a massive 35% of people said it impacted them not voting. Both parties can brag about the economy all they like. What they mean is the economy is doing better for the businesses and billionaires. It is not doing anything for the working class base doing it tough right now. They are too arrogant to admit their faults as a party and change. They had it coming.

Not voting at all means a vote for Trump. How does that make things better in Gaza? If anything it makes it worse.

The mistake Democrats made was placing too much faith in the decency of their fellow Americans, thinking they would support civil rights for all.

The economy is going well, but takes time to filter down.

In hindsight we know Biden should have made it clear he was a one term president. A new candidate would have had something new to work with.

you do? Please enlighten us with your intellect.
I’ve seen your posts, you’re barely coherent, I don’t care about what anyone believes, beliefs are broadcasting your blind ignorant stupidity.
You either understand something and are educated on the matter or you have a “belief”.
That’s life.👍

Record voter enrolment and turnout, yet there are 20 million less votes, seems a bit sus to me.
Was this his little secret with the closet man Mike Johnson, or why he kept telling us he had enough votes?
