Every time the presidential pardons happen - it's a silly exercise of opposition outrage regardless of the party. Opposition "how dare they pardon xyz' - then checks notes, wait, we are the incoming government and get our turn at this in 4 years' time.

Its really not - absent of his statements and appointments I don't think Joe would have done it.
Kash Patel is the new FBI head and has specifically threatened to go after Hunter above and beyond the current firearms charges. Biden probably also thinking about what the motivated ideologue nutcases Trump is appointing could do to Hunter once he's in the system just on the existing charges. Thats before you even get to all the corruption and lies Trump has racked up.
Just another case of the bar somehow being higher for Democrats, coz reasons.

It was hypocritical to pardon Hunter, for sure. But once deciding to do it, of course he's going to ensure the pardon is effective by specifying a period that covers all allegations.
Are you guys stupid enough to believe he would limit the pardon to, say, the last 6 or 12 months and leave Hunter exposed?

Definitely the laptop. That the GOP have had ample opportunity to examine themselves, but have never found anything.
It's more useful to tease the existence of something on the laptop, than acknowledge the reason they've never done anything, is there was nothing.
