Damn CM Punk came in hot today. Woke up on the wrong side of the bed.

Curious what people think “main event Wrestlemania” means? It’s obvious for the 1 nighters but the 2 nighters kind of feels like there’s a ‘real’ main event (eg. Cody vs Cena) and a token one for night 1. That’s just my feeling.

Gunther vs Jey needs a spark. Hard to build something for 2 months around a guy who says “yeet”. Surely it can’t be 2 months of “nobody believes in me”.

For me it feels like closing match on each night.

But then again an opening match could also be considered.

How pathetic is it that Cena gets away without a single live promo in the buildup, after somehow teleporting into the Chamber match without competing.

His whole schtick is, I will win my way to one last title, no matter what (and also wrestle full time).

I truly hope we get a long awaited heel turn - nothing else makes sense how it's all been booked/looks

That sounds really strange given how many people were there. Though I can picture a lot of the corporate boxes and function rooms were sitting empty.

I was there with a mate and we got quite hammered before and during the show but there are many hardcore wrestling fans that just want to watch the show and that's it so don't buy much alcohol or food and barely leave there seats. Can imagine it being very different in the states. Always see fans drinking.

Have to remember that it is a much smaller venue which may be a disadvantage for fans depending on demand. Around 45% of Optus Stadium capacity from last time. A lot of people are going to miss out if even 60% of those at the EC Optus show have the same idea.

I'm actually thinking it would be more like 70-80% who would do the trip again based on this which makes it even harder.

With this in mind, they should have no trouble at all selling out in a 20k stadium, but a lot more will miss out.

Yep me and some mates are thinking of doing the trip but we all know there will be a limited window to get tickets with a smaller stadium. If your not online within seconds of tickets going on sale you won't get them. I got ticket's from work last time but we had more time to get them and didn't have to be online straight away. Quick or the dead this time around. We already have a plan in place of all being online at the same time but it might not be enough.

I don’t think he’s done it to everyone but he’s certainly done it in the three above.

I’ve really enjoyed the out of ring stuff with him just wish he would get some ring time, they could put him in with some like Tozowa or the LWO guys and just squash them with the brutal submission style.

Original plan was for Cody to be the heel but Cody said No... and he was right. The timing isnt right at all. I think the views and way its gone with Cena going heel proves he was correct to overrule everyone

He truly is one of the best minds in the business is Cody Rhodes. Wrestling is alot about timing things correctly and this has been for sure

Must've been Royal Rumble it was an indoor show. Royal Rumble and WrestleMania are the only 1993 PPVs I've watched.
