Bit of a weird ending thought Seth may have come at some stage but feels like they will pivot to Punk Roman at some stage.

More thinking about it absolutely the Rock doesn’t come back until the Netflix debut now.

Backward step for LA if thats the case. Hes already run his program with Logan.

Smackdown needs some new rivalries, maybe set him up in a program with Theory or Orton for a bit.
Knight vs Owens would be fun. I'm glad Nakamura won, I'm still bitter he didn't win a world title. I think Knight's ceiling is upper mid card but not quite there to ever win a world title.

Who do we think is dethroning Cody and Gunther?

I'm thinking for Cody we could get Roman taking it back, maybe in a triple threat with The Rock at WrestleMania, you then get the Cody heel turn as Roman will be full on face by then.

For Gunther I think Cena would make sense however I don't know if it's the right call, as Gunther would gain a lot more from a win. If they go down this path then you could do Bron as the guy to take it from Cena which would be a massive rub for him.

I'm thinking it probably ends up something like LA Knight and KSI vs Logan and Jake Paul type match . They know that LA Knight is the only guy to carry such a match

With Cena its a do you put someone over on the way out or do you have a more personal match on the way out

I think they go with Cena vs Orton personally. I cant see Cena not ending it on Smackdown and I cant see it not being a babyface vs babyface match is all

Roman Reigns is 1000% nailed on for dethroning Cody

With Gunther I think he loses the title soonish in order to do the Goldberg vs Gunther retirement match at Wrestlemania. Im thinking we finally get the Seth vs Drew vs Punk match with Punk going in as champion

I could see Gunther vs Punk at Rumble with the title swapping hands then. For Rhodes he will hold onto it longer then Rumble for sure

So Cody and Rock wrestle for 35 minutes then Roman wakes up, spear, 123.

True but a bit of emotion in it might help

If they had hang foresight with this one it’d have been Cena vs Orton in a retirement match . A match you could go into believing that either could win if you drew it up properly
Double retirement ;)

Best "near miss" in wrestling history.

They truly looked like they were fleeing a natural disaster, and you simply couldn't cut it any finer.
Perfection by all 3 guys there.

I was there when Shane jumped off the cell on to taker/the desk, and obviously he had to roll early due to the extreme risk of the spot, but this is the best near miss I've ever seen (from a significant height/risk pov)

Looked it at the time... & this photo suggests so as well:

Thought about this a bit more and whilst the no shock like Seth or the Rock may have been disappointing clearly they have pivoted or at least planted the seeds for Punk v Reigns.
