As Scrim said to Sam last Fri, "just get the W"
3-0 would be golden.

Exactly this.First month of the season anything can happen. Just get the W and hopefully no more injuries.
What exactly are the rules, if any, regarding late changes?Go Hawks! It is looking wet before and during the game. Will that see a late change? Would we risk dropping a tall in conditions less likely to suit the talls?
Fairly sure you can make any change you want for any reason as long as it's from your squad of 26. Sub needs to be confirmed an hour out. What exactly are the rules, if any, regarding late changes?
Can we swing a late change based purely on the weather or does the AFL require us to provide a 'valid sicknote', i.e. either a late injury or genuine sickness? Given how tight the AFL is with the betting agencies, I wouldn't be surprised if they have some small-print saying it's the latter.
If the Blues top 4-5 players fire they can beat anyone.
Hope we are ready for the pressure they will no doubt bring.
Not the end of the world if we lose.
The area that Carlton could have the upper hand is in the midfield, contested possessions, clearances etc …….. which is the same area that we needed to address at training during the week after looking at the numbers/stats from the Bombers game.
I reckon we will also come to play, we will break even in the midfield and with our team evenness/connection all over the ground we should get the 4 points.
I didn’t watch the game but heard that the Blues were 40 odd points up in the first half …… I’d imagine that Carlton would have been ahead in most of the stats at half time?Richmond beat them in clearances last week.
Also worth noting their 2 W’s were against West Coast and North Melbourne. And our 2 L’s were against Geelong in Geelong, and Port by half a goal post in Adelaide.Form line for the respective teams:
Last ten games.
Carlton: L L W L L L W L L L.
Hawthorn: W W L W W W W L W W.
Conclusion: Hawks by plenty.
If the game is heavily going our way, don't forget to pop into Blues Radio on SEN....
