If the Blues top 4-5 players fire they can beat anyone.

Hope we are ready for the pressure they will no doubt bring.

Not the end of the world if we lose.
No they won't because we have 22 against those 5 and no matter how good they are they will lose. Cripps and weitering were good last week. It's the other players that matter. I think they will be up for the fight. The whole Carlton team

Agree the fringe players need to perform but i can't see them winning against us if those top 5 don't fire.

For the first time, in a long time I feel this can and should be a real turning point for us as a team.
For the longest of times, I think we have all hoped to be competitive and show signs of what we were trying to achieve, through gameplan or personal. I remember Mitchell would say a big thing for us was to get into "winnable" positions in game.

I think we are not past that point, for the first time in a while, I just believe we are a better team, and should win regardless of who we play, and that's exciting. Rain, Hail or Shine, I think we are better than Carlton, and based on this, should be winning tonight.

This is a big danger game for Hawthorn.

The Blose will come out with firs and brimstone after the week from hell.

Crippa could play the best game of his life especially if it is wet.

And if it is wet, Hok football isn't as good.
Yeah, I'm worried about their firs.

It is a danger game but Cripps use to bully us in the midfield all the time only a couple of years ago but very confident that it doesn’t happen these days as we have a player close to ruck height, competitive as they come, loves to tackle hard, that plays midfield and is a perfect matchup 👍

I agree i just said they will have to play well to beat us.

Fringe players won't get the job done.
That's the thing ure not grasping the fringe players have to get the job done. They will win and lose games for Carlton this year. Football is a team game.

Their extra motivation should last only a few minutes.

Wouldn't surprise me if we are down at quarter time before pegging it back. Will be made easier out our preferred ground. The G ain't it for the contest heavy Blues

Hey I have a GA ticket for someone who hasn't managed to get one, they're apparantley all sold out via the AFL and are going at $45-50 on resale, DM me if ya interested. Can't make it unfortunately :'(. I'll do it for $35

EDIT: actually i'll just go $27
There's no way everybody who's bought a ticket will turn up If there's a down pour predicted. My guess is instead of 80k it will be 70k which means there will be seats available.
