Did lol at the very old woman being shuffled into the polling station by her daughter telling the officers that she has dementia and just came from the nursing home. Surely at that point you don't need to vote, and if you do, whose vote are you really casting?
I worked at a nursing home in the 90s where the nursing director just filled in about 30 residents voting slips that had been dropped off there. Reckon this sort of thing still could happen.

Again believe what you may.
No, this isn't about what I believe. It is not just my opinion that ramping has not 'improved' over the last few years. It is a verifiable fact.

We can disagree about which political party is mostly at fault for ramping getting worse, that is a question of opinion and you're entitled to have one that's different to mine. But to flat out deny that ramping is getting worse at all is just objectively wrong.

Port included, but is it just me or does every SA pro sports team like suck?

Is Adelaide severely disadvantaged there or something.

Port suck
Crows suck
Adelaide United suck
36ers suck

Hey, don't forget the Redbacks - they suck too!

Found out on the radio yesterday that old campaigners also get a tax break, just for being old. No income limit, it just raises the tax free threshold. So all your old campaigner CEO Pollie types are getting a fat tax break just for being old, that your average 20 year old scratching by ok 40k doesn't. The whole system is so ******* rigged for boomers it's laughable
Rubbish. I'm 73 and I can earn so little before I lose my meagre pension that it isn't worth working, even if I could.

Peta should smile more.

The lentils bit is actually pretty good advice for certain meals. Nothing beats an awesome steak of course but if you’re just making tacos or a curry then lentils and/or chickpeas are a great substitute for the low grade meat you’d otherwise use. Cheap AF too at 80c a can.

Good advice for health, ****ing awful advice if you’re trying to convince people not to eat the rich.

Tangent but who the hell wants to eat the rich anyway? Saggy old white guys. Maybe my pets can eat the rich.

Thought Marshall did a reasonable job and his moderate liberal govt reasonable.

Got killed by instability of some in his party and opening up on Nov 23 rightly or not has carried the can for that
The borders was the killer. Until then health, via the Pandemic had been a strength. It was (outside a vocal hospitality and anti-vaxxer minority) we were largely living with not too many restrictions and few cases and the majority wanted it to stay that way. Marshall gave in to a few 'I haven't seen my grandkids!' whingers and Hurley types instead of going McGowan's route of the border staying shut. If he'd had said end of March is the day it's opening so 5-11's are mostly fully vaccinated and most have had boosters he'd have won. Instead cases skyrocket, people wonder why they had to miss stuff the last 2 years if now just open slather and the health news switched to ramping. To compound his idiocy, despite polls two weeks ago showing a loss, he doubled down on removing all restrictions a week out from the vote, only for case numbers to double just before polling day, in a surprise to no one, ensuring many 50-50 voters just going 'WTF? You really have lost the plot' and turning a loss into a landslide for the ALP.

Where do as I 29 year old sign up for this 'meagre pension' of which you speak?

This is Porto Alegre’s Grê-Nal derby (a sort of Adelaide’s Showdown on steroids). Grê-Nal 436, to be exact.

He did a good job over the last 4 years.

Watch Labor spend big and end up closing another hospital. Waiting lists will continue to grow. Doesn’t affect me as I have top private health cover, but many can afford that. Watch those bills go up too. People don’t know how seriously financially f’ed they are going to be if they are on low incomes. Not my problem though, as house is paid off and I can comfortably manage the price rises while cursing the dipshits that will be in power. So not my monkey, not my circus.
Papa g hack your account?

Lol. Not everybody is a sad lefty deadshit dumb campaigner.

SA Health is a cesspool of self serving bureucratic entitled back stabbing campaigners. Always has been and probably always will be. Will never be fixed because any government of either persuasion who want serious reform will be white anted and accused of slashing health spending and the inherent ongoing and eternal issues will be blamed on that.

The 2 main reasons Labor won was the ramping issue which they played for all it was worth and to a lesser extent people hating on ScoMo.

From experience I can definitely label SA Health as a cesspool. Doesn’t matter which government is in charge of it, it is a law unto itself. It is an exceptionally self serving department.

I would forego many things before I would let go of my private health cover for this very reason.

You don't think it was Corona management? Unnecessary restrictions for months with little to no cases, then opening up with numbers rising and a more contagious variant massing at border like Russian the army, only more effective?
