Does anyone know how Will pulled up after today’s game? I know BH just went down and he got 20 or so possessions and a goal but just rather wanted to know how he was moving out there and more importantly that he’s better for another run.
I was drifting in and out while laying down but he seemed like he was struggling with fitness, just skill level and determination kept him involved, another week at boxhill wouldn't hurt.

Going by the Port game only this game so it is a small sample size but when Day does come back do we need him in the backline I’d try him on a wing.

For those that watched the game, where did he line up? Saw was named in the midfield... did he play through their or go back?
His usual spot across half back and also lined up on the wing. Didn't notice him play elsewhere.

Mainly back half from what I saw. Looked ok but not 100%. Supposed that is expected given how long he has been out. Will be interesting to see if they bring him in for Wings (assuming he will get a week with his hammy tightness) or more like-for-like with Finn.

i can see why he didnt come right back into the side after his time off due to injury, i wonder if the club believe he needs another week at BHH or if he comes in?
It's hard to know isn't it. With our form and health we don't have to rush him back.

On The Couch talking about Will Day and whether he can be our version of Sam Walsh.

Apparently right now he’s comparatively rating higher. So maybe the question should be can Sam Walsh be Carlton’s version of Will Day?

Come on Cryptor, getting compared to such a gun kid, that's hardly fair..............on Sam Walsh. :)

Just wanted to bump the Will Day thread....in his last gallop against the Dee's he still looked a touch rusty or off match conditioning but on the otherhand his class and courage still shone through. I still rate him as our most special player, perhaps because I think he has such a high ceiling. Only injury would stop him from being a Hawks great. He still reminds me of Robbie Flower for those old enough to remember him gliding across the G with those magnificent skills and great courage. He has more Montreal though so perhaps he's a hodge/flower hybrid with a 30/70 split

I thought he started to show his timing in marking a lot more...

The way he drifts across contests, and plucks the ball at the highest point...somewhat Royce Hart/Robbie Flower-esque
