Are we thinking a 2-year or 3-year extension, and Part VIII by the time he's up for renewal...

Speaking to K rock Football ahead of the Cats’ 10-point win over the Brisbane Lions at GMHBA Stadium, CEO Steve Hocking confirmed an announcement on a deal that would likely see Scott pass Reg Hickey to become the club’s longest-serving mentor.

“Details are all sorted,” Hocking said. “It’ll be done pretty much any week now – any day.

“Everything’s agreed, and we’re really pleased about that.”
And what do we think of the hat

look if you want to get rid of him, we'll take him off your hands and you can have one of your favourite sons back in return..

What’s going on with Ken at the minute that you’d like him to leave? Surely Kochie is first out.

both. ken has lost the players however and needs desperately to go. he has no tactical nous whatsoever but is a half decent motivator in the right circumstance. would have been ok at the gold coast.

Won last week which was all the players.
Lost today so that's on Scott.

That's how it works around here.
Apparently it's Scott fault that the players weren't pumped & ready at the first bounce

If they were a bunch of 5 year olds, then yes that would be a huge part of things

But here we're talking about 23 adults, earning 6 figure salaries, they shouldn't need a pep talk from their coach before each match to ensure they're switched on from the first bounce - besides, isn't the finally address & "pep talk" usually from the captain before they run out onto the field...

But if professional athletes require a talk from their coach to be switched on, drop them to the VFL and see what others have to offer & if they're better prepared from the start

Hearing the same guy repeat the same message year after year wears thin. Wouldn’t matter if it’s Scott or Hardwick or Clarkson. It’s why CEO’s are moved on these days after a reasonable tenure. We just need a fresh voice with fresh ideas. It doesn’t need to be a criticism of Scott.

Wasn’t a fan of starting Selwood and Parfitt on the bench but not sure what else Scott can be blamed for.

He didn’t make Hawkins miss from the goal square, Cameron kick into the man on the mark from 50m or Miers fumble 15m from goal.

Today’s loss is on a lack of execution in critical moments.

The same blokes saying hinkley should be sacked because he has lost the players also defend scott, who has been in the job a few more years.

Time for a fresh voice. We are going nowhere.

He's about to be signed up for 3 more years.
Not sure why people think he will walk. He needs to get back the money he donated during the covid year and at 800k or more a year, why the fu*k would you leave that job if your employer just keeps backing you in.

He needs to be pushed out so we can reset. He won’t walk himself, although he should. He’s taking us nowhere.
