I have him in SC to and by that measure he's doing fine. Isn't that right Jade?

I've said before I think he's a victim of his own hype similar to Zerrett. They dip marginally from exceptional and it's more keenly noted because of how consistent they are.

You’re talking yourself in to a slab of Tooheys new.

Maybe brining in Francis as another third tall option will relieve Ridley of playing on the taller blokes.

Plus Francis is actually a pretty good field kick. Much better than Kelly and hind

I'd like to see Heppell out and Francis in, looking to use Ridley in a similar-ish role to what Heppell is playing.

Apparently Francis has a knee complaint thus why no VFL game last week for him.

Uhh that’s a shame. Yeah Heppell atm is a huge liability. He needs to do the team thing and put his hand up.

What has happened to him this year? Where is the flying interceptor? The clean mark? The strong anticipator? Where's the clean disposal? Wasn't Jake Kelly coming in meant to free him up?

My only lasting memory of him this seasons is watching him take the easy option into the pocket at EVERY DAMN kick out. So so disappointing.

It’s the unwillingness to defend that disappoints me. Spectates or defers to a teammate to tackle or pressure if he’s got the option to. He needs to be called out on it.

We know he has the ability; can read the game well, intercept with clean hands and distribute well out of defend. This season, he has performed a disappearing act and has started botching his kicks. Just looks like a player that hasn't bought in to whatever we're doing.

not really a blip now. his form is poor and his confidence is low, and has been all season really. probably since his concussion mid last year, his form has never fully recovered.

that dropped mark 15m out in the last where they kicked a goal (can't remember who) was really a perfect example of where he's at.

looks flustered. isn't taking marks. isn't making the right decisions. can't kick. don't think dropping him is the answer, but maybe giving him the juiciest matchup so he can find some form next week might be the answer

i just hope he get's back to his form of the last 2 years, because i don't like watching this version much

Just looking so damn poor. So many poor decision on when to mark when to spoil being made when he's intercepting. What's happened here? Really don't get it.

He is an intercept defender. They struggle to operate at their pick if you allow waves of easy ball come through the middle of the ground and they have to defend which he is just fair at .
